Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to show you all my current set-up that I'm running. Only one female because the other two were males. Hopefully will have many more plants on the next grow.
I'll try to keep this updated. I'm not super experienced so any suggestions are helpful!

Yeah, its been flowering for about two weeks because i want to keep it fairly small. I'm not totally positive it's female but I'm pretty sure.
I just bought (6) 30watt cfl's to help with the flowering stage and I'm in the process of building a fixture to hold the lights.

Nice Looking Plants! I don't think they could get any greener...you should invest in a a 150w HPS. I just got mine, I'm 7 days into flowering and I have smalls buds all over the plant...

Right now I'm doing one small AG nute every week and im still using the stock AG lights but I have 6 CFL bulbs that I should have up in a day or two. I also got my hands on a 250w HPS bulb that is red, isn't the red good for flowering?

So in that last pic i posted, you can see secondary growth coming out and then right between those and the stipules are little hairs. You can see it especially on the right side. Are they not female hairs??

Also, this is my only plant, so can i do anything about that mold?

I'd call it a female until you see ball sacks.

looks like pistils to me.

:blsmoke:

That HPS light will be awesome for flowering, and you should try to keep your CFLs running with that too for side lighting.

You can try to swap sponges if you cant clean it off (if its just on the surface, if the whole sponge is nasty toss it)

Tear the moldy one in half and cut another one in half and just make a stem sandwich with the new sponge.

Just take the mold off with a wet Q-tip

well the mold only seems to be on the surface so I'm gonna try to clean it off and if that doesn't work then i'll try to swap sponges.

yeah so i pulled the sponge out a little and the mold was in one spot and seemed to be on the surface, so i wiped it off with a q-tip and it all seems to be gone. I covered the bottom good so no more light should get down to the sponge.

So I mentioned earlier that I got my hands on a 250w HPS red bulb. I put it in my grow box today and it sent the temp. through the roof! It was a constant 75 degrees in there and after having the HPS bulb in for a couple hours the temp. was over 100 degrees. Obviously I took it out for now. Does this bulb not work good or do I just need more ventilation?? I have a mixvent fan that runs at 140 CFM connected to my carbon filter which is exhausting out the back of the box. I dont have much money for more ventilation so any cheap ideas would be grand!

yeah so scratch that last post. I guess what I have isn't a HPS bulb, I swore it said it was but oh well. I feel like a dumbass now haha. Luckily I didn't pay any money for the light so it's all good. Thank god I didn't fuck my plant over.

I'm not even gonna bother. It was some kind of heat lamp or something. Fuck up on my part. Luckily the plant is still doing pretty good.
