After swapping to 12/12 for a week i had to turf out my best looking plant, turned out male :( Bloody Balls everwhere sadly my over eager BF chopped it down before i cud get pics lol.

3 days later 2 out of the 4 remaining plants starting showing signs of deficiencies. Bright lime top leaves, bunching, twisting etc they were showing white hairs so i was really worried, looked like nute lockout or zinc deficiency- was feeding 2 mls grow/ 3 mls bloom and 2 mls alga mix at this point with plants being about 50 cm tall ( yup they deffo grew)

heres some pics of the plants affected:

Put my anxieties up on the forum regarding my problematic plants. Got numerous causes from my pH to over nuting to my water quality. Hmm hard to pin point. 2 of my other plants were fine, 2 were not (weird) all showing white hairs. i decided to let em dry out for a few days ( as someone said they looked over watered too) and reassess as i was worried about making matters worse. Was looking at everything from Molasses to reverse osmosis units to cure my problem so decided rather than spend i wud sit it out for a few days. Probs a bad idea i thought but i was at a loss to why 2 plants! lol

Today

Think i found the problem with my plants- HERMIFICATION!!!!!!!!! (is that even a word?) lol Despite wondering for days about my weird shape calyxes ( although i had white hairs to i think my suspicion has made itself clear :( oh well i got 2 decent plants left so not all loss perhaps and least i got rid of my problem rugrats! hopefully the problems wont affect me again now? Do you tend to have more probs with deficiencies in hermie plants? im hoping because they were hermie that is the reason lol

Heres some pics:

Agent ... nice too see u took some advice ...lol
you definately had some hermification if not .... i think one those might have been 100% male ...

so its the third week of flowering????
hmm ... a little underdeveloped....
usually by now there would be alllot of hairs...

perhaps the lack of budding is dew to putting you seeedling in the window sill...
early development is key for most things in nature...
i think we may just have to wait this one out ...
before we find out whats wrong..
hopefully they keep growin on a faster paste...

the true girls didnt seem to show themselves properly until 4 days ago, the true male showed first ( in a week) then the hermies which u see on some pics deffo had white hairs, even posted on a seperate thread as i was so unsure as they looked like they were coming from a ball shape, but 2 white hairs non-the-less. I'll take some close ups and put em on in a bit, definately a marked increase overnight so perhaps they have just kickstarted themselves, and will hopefully do better now they got more room directly under the light now i kicked those smelly males out :P Cross ya fingers for me that no rogue flower opened :S

This is a pic of my most recent grow...
its only my second....
but this is it only in 2 to 3 weeks in flower....
im no expert ....i messed up my first grow real bad and the clones...
this last grow was my first success.... you have more eqipment than me.....
also ....
maybe something stunting the growth of your plants...

For two weeks..... your doing fine ....
The only bad part is your plants looked alittle streched ...not bushy....
Its pretty normal however..... for first grows
I like to keep my node spacing tight by putting my floros close to tops of my plants during veg stages...
But once i go into flower i put mine under a 400hps.....
The reason u want bushier thicker leaves closer together (node spacing)
is so youll have many fan leaves ...
Those fan leaves are essential for making fat buds....(Fat leaves ethal fat buds.... denser)
the leaves is were all the photosynthesis and metabolism occurs....

I think your plants will be great if u keep em healthy ... illl be checkin on you....

BTW anyone know about feeding molasses? Whens a good time to start? will it harm them if i start now?

thanks xxx
yeah u can go ahead and feed the molasses...
Most people do it the last 4 to 5 weeks in flower....
Cause u doont have to flush molasses like nutes....
id putt one tablespoon per gallon ... mix well....

no i wont lol, i check on em all the time, im wondering if it would be beneficial to tie the tops down a little to give some more concentration to the lower branches, would this be beneficial, or is it too late in the grow now?

Flowering week 2 + 4 days

Ok took the bold decision to tie them growing tops down a bit so they are a bit more even. The bud sites are developing more and more every day.

Heres some pics

Feel free to tell me your views so far.

Many thanks
