Ahhhhh frost?!?

hi, im now comeing towards the end of my first experimental grow it all started with a seed in a 10bit and it's now gotten to a fully mature female plant.The plant grows in an old caravan toilet room that gets quite cold the first frost was this morning and im wondering what damage frost does to plants i noticed the bottom leaf has greyish patches on it and wondered if this was frost damage if it is can this affect the bud? and what should i do? harvest early? or sit it out? any advise would be greatly apreishiated <--crazy spelling skills

if you got plants outside and its starin to frost id chop em down immediately.

like i said though its in a caravan albeit an old one that gets cold, i dont know how cold though and in your opinion could it get cold enough to cause a plant harm? and if so what harm specificly would it cause?

cut asap I left mine out thru a couple frosts those Grey spots start to weaken stems and if given another day or 2 will start to mold.

sense no one has told u that grayish stuff is mold cut it off dont touch it then any partof ur p[lant u will spread it and no its not safe to smoke id pull now frost damges plants cells bad

exactly.... take what you got. no use lettin the mold spred and waste all the bud you got out of it. Its better than nothin!!!!

a frost 32F and below can wipe out an enitre crop..!

thanks alot for all the posts i for got to say though there only about 5-10g of bud on it atm seeing as i knew nothing about growing when i planted the seed i did it about a month too late still worth chopping?

you say a frost below 32f can ruin all my shit but im not sure how cold that is its -3c here at night i presume a little warmer in the caravan maybe but when i wake up i go turn the gas heater on and keep it around 20c in the day

my plant has been budding for 3-4weeks will it even get me high?

is it ok to dry it in the same cold caravan i would do it in a different room incase there is any mold around in that room?

what if it frosts while its drying does that still cause harm?

if you know the answer to any of these question please reply this is now an emergency if my bud is at risk :S

well unless somehow you can move them inside, 5-10 grams is better than 0. So i guess that decision is all up to you.

moving inside isn't realy an option im only 16 i live with my parents and they dont even know i smoke it let alone grow the shit lol guess im chopping my baby early :shock:

will it being in doors with little light help more than in the cold with full sun? because that can be arranged

yes will still cause harm plants buds are about 70 percent water all that water will freeze and damage any cells of the weed plus will take fover to dry 3-4 weeks might not get u high are any of the hairs changing yet at all have u looked at the thrics to see if there still clear

around 15-20% of the hairs are red/brown i havent got a megnifier for the triches yet as i didn't foresee harvesting for another month or so

I guess you could put it by a window for 12 hours and a completly dark room for the other 12 for alittle longer if you can. If not then id bring her in and chop her down. Id make sure its not frozen before you harvest her. I dont know if itd make a difference but id do it to make sure.

yeh i think ima bring it indoors if i can sneak it in and keep the stench down and harvest what i have, next year i think ill just tell my parents so i can set up a indoor growing area in my room and get some serious yeilds thanks ALOT for the help guys i prolly would have left it in the cold till the mold fucked it if it wern't for you lot ill get some pics soon when its in

just be carful that mold will spread and u want high yeilds thats outdoors my freind ur limited indoors :hump:

im in england though shit weather is it still better to grow outdoors?

will it still spread if i cut it all off and keep washing my hands and the cutters real regular what the best temp for drying when molds a risk?

If it were me it wouldnt even be outside, living in michigan. Fuck im 21 and still living with my parents from smoking alot of weed for years. If i didnt have the option id jsut chop it, depending how long its been flowering for.
