air control? a few questions about it.

Hey guys I was just wondering if I really need this under expensive ventilation system? I know people who just have a fan on their ladies and it seems to work just fine. I have also read that you should draw all the air out of a room every three minutes. Am I just reading the wrong info?

No ideas? Well I guess I stick with the exhaust system its just spiking my electric bill.

Not sure but ever since I installed it it being this old vent and filter and fan set up my dad used when he grew in the early 90s. My electric bill has gone from 150 ish (thats with my grow room up and running) to like 275. Nothing else has changed still don't have the furnace on. And actually it should be less because the ac is not running anymore. I'm just wondering if I really need it. I don't mind spending money on growing but the 8 plus weeks I have left of flower is gonna hurt. I know its not that much really but every dime counts right now. Also the vent system is loud as Fuck lol.

a single fan using 125 dollars worth of electric a month? time to invest in a new fan. if you can keep temps in range without it off that bitch . I dunno the specs on your grow but including everything mine runs at just over 2kw and my bill is 325 or so. we just moved out of tiered billing so its gone down some.

well my apartment has electricity included in my bill so lol i dont worry about it. In your case i would definitely see into upgrading that fan cause thats a lot, especially if its from the 90's but can we see some pics of what you are working with

I'll get some pics up tomorrow night I just got to work and the lights are gonna be off when I get home. But yeah I turned that energy whore off before I left. I just didn't know how much it was supposed to use ya know cuz I figured that couldn't be right.
