air intake and exhaust and carbon filter

i have a specific ? on how to exhaust my mother room in my flower room and both out of the house through a filter and fan im trying to make sure i get this right thanks for any help ahead of time GO TO MY JOURNAL LINK IN SIG TO SEE ROOM AND LAYOUT IT HAS PICS AND MORE DETAILS BUT HERES MY ?????S


im wondering how i should do my intake and exhaust and were the carbon filter fits in in all this i thought i had it but now im confused and need a little help +rep for good advice thanks everyone:wall::wall::wall::wall:

Well one would assume that with the 100+ books you have you would know how to hook up a simple exhaust and intake. I mean come on my lil brother could figure this out. LMAO....

Nothing to complicated here, I just thought it pretty lazy of someone to tell people to look at a link and figure out how to answer a question that you really didn't explain.

Also you say you searched the net? Where, I googled "intake exhaust carbon scrubber placement"....Wow what do you know....

:peace::joint::peace:Ok i see you didnt understand my question and why i was refering to the link. I said go to the link cause the room design is there.with more detailed drawings and pics of the setup. And the question was not how to use a fan and filter. It was what is the best way for me to do it with the setup and 3 rooms i have and,i was wondering how to exhaust 2 rooms with 1 fan/filter combo,and it work well. Odor is kinda a issue for me. You just misread or maybe i didnt word it just right. I found a similar post you made in another thread and it kinda helped. Thanks,sorry for the miss understanding and calling you an asshole,but im far from lazy. I just needed specific help on a certain way not just how to hook it up. Im no rookie im just use to my small closet grows this is my first time with a big room if you click the link you would have seen ive changed everything and,making sure i get it all right so i dont have to tweak it that much later and fix screw ups .

Ahh in that case I have an idea for you something I did when building a buddys set-up. He was trying to scrub two rooms to one filter and I think I know what you mean now. This will require at least an 8" Fan maybe 10"but duct your 8" to a 6 x 6 x 8 to a (if 10 it would be 6 x 6 x 10) Y connector and duct each six to its specific area then run the 8" or 10" to your fan and connect your fan to the scrubber. However build a Air Tight box for your Scrubber to fit in with an inlet for 10" or 8" ducting and outlet of same size to be run wherever you desire. Like this, I jacked these pics from someone for descriptive purposes. He actually has three rooms ducted to this scrubber and fan! I'm not an asshole but can come off that way....sorry...I hope this helps you.

ok this is it its 1 room with a closet. the closet is the clone rom. from the end of th closet straight across we framed and are blocking it off its the mother room. were putting up more 2x4s to frame a small box area in the other corner. the 4 trays and resivors will be there and the filter connected direstly to the fan ducting on the other side and a piece of ducting with an inline duct boos t fan from the mother room to the flower room the ducting run from the fan will exhaust in the attic or the floor it will be sucking through the filter then fan then ducting out of the house odorless IS THIS RIGHT AND HOW IT SHOULD GO? (there is also a window in the room thet we are coverin with plywood)

The room with your filter and scrubber will draw air from the cloning room correct? If that is so will there be another intake for the Main room housing your scrubber and filter? If not I'm not to sure if I like idea of reusing the air from your Mother/Clone Area Room because thats exactly what will happen.

If your only concern is filtering the air it will work. Also I would consider ducting your exhaust somewhere in your house to use the heat created.

What size is the light in the main room? What kind of Fan and Scrubber do you have, if you have it already?

right now i have 4 400 wat hps for the flower room. in the next month (bout the time ill need em) we will have 4 1000 wat air cooled hps . the clone room is light and pretty much air tight i have a fan circulating air in there it doesent get hot at all so i will leave it. the only reason im running 1 from the mother room to be scrubbed is those 6 to 10 mothers will have a smell to them to and we dont want any odor. and all the ?s and post are cause were ordering the fans and filters tomorrow so i gotta figure it out

Wow thats a little larger than I assumed, Ambitious as well. To Filter all of that you will need much to large of Scrubber to Hang high in your room inline (which is ideal).

You should think about what I suggested before house you scrubber outside of both rooms in a sealed box and connect both roms with Y connector and then to scubber. ..................................Room ------->\

....................................................................................------Fan---> (Scruuber in Box)-----> Out the window or back into your house
.................................................................................../
............................................................Room -------->/

I attempted to draw it out. Your way won't work I think the scrubber will be heavy as fuck unless you want it just standing in your room taking up floor space.

What are the dimensions of each of your rooms?

the room is 15'x11' the closet is the clone room and from the end of the closet to the wall is the framed mother room and then were just gona hang up some panda film and make a small flower room. THE FLOWER ROOM WILL NOT BE AIRTIGHT OR LIGHT SEALED CAUSE THE OTHER 2 ROOMS WILL BE. its really 3 rooms in 1 room thats why i was refering to the journal it has good room pics and plans
