Airstone Dilemma

Hi guys, although it's hard to get info on this site because the newbs don't get questionsI answered but rather redirected to some Faq sheet by the pros who seem a bit tired of answering any questions or letting us in on their techniques. Well, I hope you guys can help with this Airstone question:

1. People say to get a 6 inch airstone and I have a 4 inch round one and this takes up about 2 of my pods out of 7. What I mean is that when I lay in the Rez, it doesn't seem to fit easy and would definitlely interfere with the roots because its so close up to the pod.

Is there some sort of mini 6 inch airstone you guys are talking about that may fit snug along the side (one of those long tubes as opposed to the round disks like the one I have)?

Let me know generally how you guys feel about which airstones fit well in this small 1 gallon Rez.

By the way, does the Aerogarden already have some sort of pump? Just curious...

dual output? does that mean the pump supplies air to the 2 airstones? how big is your pump. mine is only a 10 gallon one and it only seems to have bubbles on the side I put it in. Gonna get one of the ones you have (strips of airstone) so I can put them on the sides... Good idea...
