Wow, only been 2 days since the CFL upgrade and they are growing awesome! Thanks SICC and TeaTree

So today I went and bought an 4'' airstone/pump. Only cost me 11 bucks.

Do I leave the airstone on 24/7 or with the light cycle? I also assume the stone wont hurt the roots.

Leave them on 24/7. Thats how the roots attain the necessary oxygen. Are you flowering the plants right now? I ask because you mentioned a light cycle. If your still veging you should be leaving the lights on 24/7 also.

Yes I am vegging on a 18/6 cycle. I heard 24/7 would stress the plant out.

I'm good with outdoor growing, this is my first time doing it indoors, esp with an AG:-o

I strongly disagree with you Rumple4Skin, I would have the light schedule on 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. The plant needs time to rest and in this dark time the roots will grow.

I was under the impression that the lights should be left on 24/7. Thats only what I have been hearing. What you said makes sense though and I will look into it for sure. Thanks for that information tom_420.

No problem man your plants will thank you... and so will your electric bill haha :o
 Yeah I know right. Especially when I start running more than 2 bulbs. Im just experimenting with my single plant now and then once I have done alright with it I will grow about 4 or 5 which are gonna require alot more bulbs.
