yo, had my 1st grow a couple weeks back, and i harvested/cured it as said on here with the jars, n leaving it upside down for a cuple days first. when i was cuting the plant it stinking out the house, than when it was dried and redy to smoke it wasnt so potent, it didnt really smell at all in all honesty. another thing is the buds were very airy/leafy and the draw was ridiculously fluffy. can you guys lemme know wat the prolem may of been . wether it was during the growing process or not. cheers

how warm does it average in the Uk in these months? does the sun stay out much?
that may be the issue....try indoors and who knows maybe the conditions will be better for heavier buds.

uk isn't very good for outdoors unless u can bring them in at night towards end of summer/early autumn. A quick blooming strain might be your best bet imo. I've never done outdoor uk, but if i was to I would work from clone and veg em up to a respectable size before putting them outside for the warmer part of summer to finish. But I'm just guessing here. Most outdoor uk bud I've smoked and seen growing has never had any density, just light and fluffy if that's any consolation

Seriously, if the bud is good and it's for you who gives a flying f%^k if it's airy or loose? I want mine all fat and firm but some sativas never will. Dried and jarred your weed will be good. Otherwise buy a HPS. You get what you pay for - if you're lucky.
