Details

General:

Today ( 06/16/08 ) is day 17 of life from seed.

Setup and Lighting:

The setup is a 7'x4'x4' frame I built and is surrounded by Panda Film. The light setup was copied from Garden Knowm's book "Buds for Less." There are 9 42w 2700k CFLs, totaling 378 watts of power.

Soil:

Soil is a hand mixed (by me) soil composed of coco peat, worm castings, perlite, and expanded clay pellets.

Now for the plants. I have 2 plants at the moment, these are going to be cloned later, right before I switch to flowering (soon, at about 5 inches), and put into a continuous cycle between my closet and this grow room.

The lights in the closet are just a couple of 40w tube fluorescents for clones before they move to the grow room.

Looks good, comment my grow and ill subscribe to yours. We are a few weeks apart, mine are older.

You can get those CLF's alot closer, like 2-3 inches away, you will notice a difference in growth speed.

Yeah, thing is, there was a little bit of what appeared to be a burn on the tip of a leaf, didn't even come close to touching it, but yeah, I just moved the plants closer to the lights, hope nothing else happens as far as the burning goes.

Nice looking good. I'm germing auto-ak47 right now. I want to get some seeds for my first auto-grow. But, this is for my second grow overall, i got WW first.

I got some "AK47" supposedly growing outdoors.
It was a clone from a patient so who knows if its actually AK47. Your leaves seem fatter then mine.

Do you think its quite possibly, AK47?? I hope so :D we'll see.

They might be, I know there's 3 phenotypes of AK-47, so we probably just have different phenotypes growing.

It's been a while since an update, I'll make sure I get some pictures up very soon. I'm kind of embarrassed to take more pictures because they've started to look like crap due to heat stress (I had to keep the door rolled down for geurilla reasons).

They've both turned out females (lucky me) and I took 3 clones from one of the plants a little while back, they're doing okay.

Too bad from the heat issues hopefully they recover.

Well, you know how there's different strains of grass? Well, some strains have their own mini strain, if you will. That is a phenotype. These phenotypes may have distinct differences in appearance from each other, as well as taste, indica/sativa dominance, smell, etc.

Yeah, they're doing fine, it didn't really do any serious damage, it just messed up the way most of the leaves look.

And thank you, I hope you get a pair of females as well.

edit: Oh wait, you said they're clones, of course they're female.

your plants look fantastic! I just put in an order for some Ak-47 seeds from bc seed king. Is that were you got them from? tell me where you got em please...
Anyway keep growing cause their looking fine....:mrgreen:

I ordered them from seedboutique who in turn gets theirs from serious seeds (the creator of AK-47).

I'm about to put up some pictures, they look far from as good as they used to due to heat stress, they're still growing at a good rate, and it is the buds that really count, but these leaves got their asses whooped by heat. I removed the worse looking leaves, they were covering buds anyway. :-|
