I am starting my very first hydro grow.
I bought 5 FEM AK 48 seeds from Nirvana.
I built my own grow tent and hydroponics system.
The tent is 2'x4'x6' lined with white garbage bags on the inside and black garbage bags on the outside.
I am using CFL's for a light.
I built a hydro system with a 35 gallon tank and have 10 gallons of water in it. I have room for 8 net pods but will start with one the rest are blacked out. My goal is to clone the first one to 8 plants if everything is successfull.
My resevoir is blacked out. I have 10 gallons of RO water from Wall Mart and am using General Hydroponics Micro and Grow combo. I have two pumps. One pump is gonna be used for a bubbler system that will have two 12" airstones attached, this will be used when the roots get long enough to reach the water. The second pump will be used for what i think is referred to as a drip system? Basically the pump is submersible and will have hoses attached that go into the net pods.
(How often do i water the plants I have a timer with 15 minute intervals?)
Seed popped Oct 4th and I put it in its starterplug on Oct 5th It is currently under 2 CFL's I will try to keep the medium moist and talk and sing to it (co2 LOL
) and pray that it makes it.
If I am doing anything wrong or you have suggestions or answers please help.
