I've found that tric development is pretty uniform across a plant so when the tops are ready, so are the bottoms. Chopping the top first and then the bottom certainly wont hurt your yields and may give you a few extra grams from those lower flowers. If you have the time and space, give it a try. If you try this, I wouldn't wait more than a week between the time you chop the top and the time you chop the bottom.

okay sounds like a plan home. +rep One more question. Is it okay for me to still trim some of the foliage today. I went and saw a lot of dead lower branches and I dont want the plants to give those branches energy when they could be producing nice buds on the tops.

Lower branches not getting direct light tend to yield light and airy flowers. It's a personal call but I try to do all my trimming of lower branches as soon as the plant goes into flower. If you think that some lower branches are hurting your plant, go ahead and take a few off.

thanks home you have been very helpful. I guess i'm just going to let nature take its course. I dont want to do anything to harm the plants. Ill just pull off the ones which are already dead.

looking good, here is my ak mama at about four weeks now no lighting regime for her yet, the others are too cheese at 5 weeks old on 12 12 form seed and three white widows the same, the big cheese is about 3 and a half foot tall now and i snapped her about 10" from the top the day before i took the photo but she recovered over night, good luck ,,,,,

ps im a lazy arse grower, just fuck em in the pots turn the timers on and feed em now and again, to stoned to most of the time,,, hope your girl gets well,,

my friend also grows his ak 47 under 1000w lights but using the nft tray system, just gona wotch and compear lookin good tho

Just fed the girls. That back one is real sick but she is still producing nice buds so I guess thats what counts. I also saw something similar on another plant but it was very slight.It appears to be somesort of deficiancy with a nute burn. Anyway I flushed the girls out today so hopefully they willlike that. I also saw my first two amber pistils on my most maturest one so thats wonderfyll.

Guys i have a serious problem that thing is like on all of my plants now and im scared it going to wipe out my crop. I'm crying seriously crying and i need someones help everyones help help in general

Youngstud: Here is some blunt advice, take it or leave it. From reading through your journal, I believe you suffer from the classic "over-attention" disorder. You got to leave them be and just let them grow. You are over thinking it bigtime. Chill out, relax, dont tell anyone, you probably shouldnt even be posting pics unless your legal as well.

Ight will do. if something happens to my crop im coming back for you though. I guess you havent seen what happened to my plant with the tiny yellow dots. But oh well I will sit back if they die they die I will harvest whatever I can.

Post some pics. Maybe it's actually an issue.

Thanks for caring home. SO I decided Id call in one of my friends who is a pro grower and he just fixed the situation. Turns out it was heat stress with nute burn the only this was that one plant got completely burnt because the vent wasnt heat reflective considerate so the light was reflecting off of it too strongly. Hence the plants closet to the ventilation were getting light which is equivalent to a mirror reflecting on the leaves. SO he had me lift up the light and turn all of the burnt plants around. THANK GOD. I thought my crop was dead luckily I was able to fix this. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for someone dealing with the same problem.Thanks for caring boys.
