Hello everyone ill start off by giving you a brief summary of what has happened since birth of my baby(ak-4)

I germinated the seed in a rockwool cube then transplanted into soil once roots started showing through the bottom. the stem was week at first so i supported it with a drill bit and a straw sliced down the middle its the best i could come up with. Then i rigged up my kitchen cabinet pictures included don't laugh......ok you could laugh cuz i did.i dug up a really old fan as you can see and a grow light a buddy gave me and wala. Anyways the plant is about 3- 3 !/2 weeks old counting from when it broke soil. its been growing good imo until recently i shut the door to the cabinet and my wife shut the ac and the temps hit 100!!! not good anyways i fixed that problem temps now at 83 and humidity at 46% and holding steady. two of the leaves tho have brown tips and some brown spotting dont know if its from the 100 deg day or from something else so comments and opinions are well appreciated. enjoy the pics! oh im using miracle grow soil i know i shouldn't be but it was laying around so that's what im using could be the problem who knows. hope you do.

Hey guy, if your using that soil i hope you cut the hell out of it with perlite that will turn into a soggy mess and snuff out all the roots oxygen....i cant see your pics so i cant help you with your problem, they all kinda look the same in a way....the only way for me to really tell whats going on is seeing the location of the issue on the plant and leaves....top ...middle...bott...of plant....edges...tips...base...betw vains....or whole leaf..ect... But good luck...post the pics on the page and it will be easy for people to help out.....

hey filthy this img shows the problem pretty clearlyIMG_0751.jpg i didnt mix it with anything i think its too late at this pont.
last night after i posted this i think i found the reason for the spotting after the temp spiked i wanted to cool down the plant so i wet the leaves but i did this with the light still on and i think it might have burned the leaves. you think that makes any sence or am i having a different problem

Brown spots got a little darker. i just finished flushing the plant with plain water no nutes. Back under the light she goes good news is fresh growth looks good no spotting looks healthy. Hopefully problems are behind me.

So its been a few days since i topped her i went away for the weekend so she didnt get watered for 4 days heres some pics!

IMG_0777.jpgIMG_0778.jpgIMG_0779.jpgIMG_0780.jpgIMG_0781.jpgIMG_0782.jpg

leaf edges are curling up alil i think its from the no water for 4 days and growth is starting to pick up.
But shes stuck at 5 1/2 inches tall but getting bushy i lowered the plant so its about 5 inches away from the light to try and make her get taller.
any ideas or other methods to get more vertical growth would be appreciated.

oh and i completely stopped giving nutes in the water. Im just gonna let the mg soil supply the nutes. I think its enough i havent gotten any more nute burn since i flushed it and started using straight water.

Hey brother, looks like your girl is coming along. I agree that the spots could be burn. Its not completely necessary to mist leaves if you do use a fine sprayer so it dissolves quickly. But the top should do, from what I've seen it seems people cut a bit more off but that could be for the purpose of cloning. But im from Brooklyn to, so keep it up and rep BK. (im assuming based on your name your from bk)
