Albino?!?!?

It just looks like a nitrogen deficient plant to me, wiki says Albinism (from Latin albus, "white"; see extended etymology, also called achromia, achromasia, or achromatosis) is a congenital disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. Albinism results from inheritance of recessive gene alleles and is known to affect all vertebrates, including humans. i I couldn't find anything on wiki about an albino plants. Not saying it dosen't happen but i cant find anything on it. I'm going to follow this one for sure now, cant wait to see it in a few weeks, if it makes it. do you know what kind of strain it is?

IDK, I have looked, albino plants dont exist, plants use chlorophyll for coloring, animals use melanin for coloring , plants do not posses melanin, it has to be a genetic or nutrient deficiency, probably genetic , seeds have enough food for the boost to get up to the sun and produce there own food, hence the two beginning leaves. these are only my hypothesises , I'm no expert of anything, but it is intriguing and i will follow it, it would be nice to see a huge white plant though . what kind of strain is it again?
hey champ, 1 if it is an "albino", possibly in the plant sense then it will die.
no chlorifil (sorry spelling) and it will die simple as that.
you sure it wasnt grown in complete darkness? shove a vine/creeper branch into a dark crevice and you will see that is white, white the rest of the plant is the normal green. no sunlight, no need to waste energy producing chlorofil.
yours seems genetic tho. (more info should confirm). i once found an "albino cockeroache" in a sealed box. completely white pink. i thought i better keep this for a bit but when it was exposed to some light and food other than paper/carboard it turned into normal colours.
nether the less keep us posted. unfortunetly it seems it should die when the seed nutrients run out. dont forget to take heaps of pics, you never know it could be new to science.

First off guys ALBINO plants DO exist, I have had 2 in the past 5 yrs. You do not get full albino plants. An Albino plants has NOTHING to do with nitrogen def. If it's pale thro nitrogen def that DOES NOT make it ALBINO... An Albino is produced from a genetic feck up.
Most of the stuff posted above is relating to humans LMAO nothing to do with plant genetic one bit. people should stay away form WIKI. Try GOOGLE SCHOLAR. Written by pro's not just any old fart.

origins of seeds were unknown.. my unkle recieved seeds and three grew..no males, just a hermi that i killed after the sacs were just all over..hashed it! the three seemed to be a mid grade to me.. alot of leaves and buds were small and a bit airy..smoke was good..seemed like a indica sativa mix..resin on the colas were nice and frosty but the leaves had little to none. not sure on the hermi tho...
its just strange how out of 100 seeds there popped a white one right smack in the middle! ive never seen a white plant...so this should be an interesting grow!! ill prolly do a journal on it...hopefully she/he lives on to produce something unique!

hillcrest, i never said plants couldnt be albino, just general definition is related to animals not plants. n sorry champ chlorophyll is green, no if buts maybies. if a plant is any other colour than greenish other pigments (other than chlorophyll) prodominate.
and if yous didnt read, or at least didnt know, can can hardly call a seed that has just popped nutrient deficient in any shape or way.

Like i said, I'm no expert at it, those are just possible conclusions I couldn't find anything about an albino plant of any kind, I did not say that they dont exist, and batters21, I never thought of it being grown in total darkness. that could be the explanation , it's definitely fits the bill. Hilcrest, I know that my first post IS about animals and not plants, there was no info on plants, i also said that, and i never said it was absent of chloryphill, A plant has to have it like we need blood. people should thoroughly read the posts , not glance and type . I think that a plant could be nutrient deficient from the start if it had bad genetics, not impossible i should say

Marijuana does occasionally have albino traits. Hardly ever full on white like that.
