Algae???

So i have an aeroponics setup going on, and i dont have covers on the net pots (the plants i have in them are all seedlings so they arent tall enough to make it over the rim so that i could put a cover on it if that makes sense) and the rockwool/the jiffy plug things (soil) they are in have green algae growing all over the tops of them. What should i do???

if you dont have top on em, they will grow algae. there really is no other way around it. you can try moving your lights higher or you can try hydroguard.
