thanks guys good to see ya,

i'm having a slight problem with my babies it looks like they are having deficiencies on 2 of them.

the leaves are curling and looking yellow and slight browning at edges.
the veins still look green though.

here's some pics

Have you checked the ph of your run off?
Curling leaves is a sign of a ph swings
The claw with leaves curly down is nute burn,
And the claw curly up is heat burn.
Yellowing can be a few types of def. Mag,cal, nitrogen
But im thinking a lock up due to ph so get a reading
Of your run off then start a flush,

holy fuck me sideways, according to ph meter my plants should be dead with a reading of 4.5 ...

yahhh definately need to put ph up in the water.
im also planning on ditching fox farms for advanced nutrients sensi bloom.

do i still need to flush or just change the ph? and it will be all gravy.

Whats the ideal ph? glad i caught that kinda early.

Flush asap with x3 time the volume of your bucket

An sensi will be way better than FF
Whats your feeding like

Do yo go feed,water,water,feed?

for sure i will do that tommorrow as soon as the lights come on they were due for a watering anyway.
so ph at like 6.5 yah?

The problem is a magnesium deficiency. It causes the leaves to curl and look burned in the vein areas. The yellowing is caused by nitrogen deficiency. You will need to flush your plants with pure water; distilled or Reverse Osmosis. After you do that and get all the nutrients out, you will want to let them dry 'thoroughly'. Then you will be ready to start feeding again. But make sure you alternate between feed water, just water, feed water, just water. Be sure to flush thoroughly when you are using plain water. I experienced this issue quite a bit in my novice stages but learned how to overcome it.

Believe it or not, I learned that Fox Farm causes hermies. I started off using Fox Farm. It kept the plants fed but I could not get rid of the hermies and the occasional lockout of nutrients. When I switched to Advanced Nutrients, I then learned that the Micro had to be mixed in the water 'before' the Grow and the bloom in order to prevent lockout of nutrients. Then I researched to find that Micro-nutrients should always be mixed into the water before anything else. Once you go with AN you will never return to anything less. Let me know if you have any questions.

thanks for the advice mr. philosopher,
the deficiencies were caused by the horrible ph imballance and i have flush with a good amount of pure water. enough to flood the bottom trays completely and they are already looking better.
fox farm is definately a bad nutrient, im ordering the 1 litres of bloom a+b from amazon. 36 for both when one is 28 in the stores.
whats the micro you are talkin about?
