I am a very poor guy (ARTIST) and I wanted to see if I could do what is doing done for a smaller price and this is what I came up with!

Hardware stores were my first choice when I started looking for things but I started to see that regular gardening was nothing like hydroponics and was not as popular as one would think. So what I did was going into a search engine and started comparing the items on hydro web site to ones in a more regular setting. But I found was not only funning it was something that made me so happy because buying at this places would not leave any reason for someone to wanna look at my purchases.

Water Pumps, Air Pumps, hoses, air filter, PH tester kits and even some lights and be bought at Petco. There was some crazy C02 additive there that I want someone to check out.

All the item were alot cheaper and cash could be used unlike web sites that track what your doing.

Also I found that there is a place local to me that sales hydroponic tomatoes growing equipment that had all the other stuff I needed and alot more.

other things you can buy from fish stores:
Calcium Hydroxide to raise ph
Calcium additives
Magnisium additives
T5 bulbs
MH bulbs
CO2 equipment
digital ph equipment
refractometers
ozone generators
activated carbon for your filters
Reverse osmosis equpiment
resivors (old tanks that they have from maintance accounts)
heaters for your rez
chillers for your rez
controllers for entire systems (like the aquacontroller 3 by neptune systems)

the aquarium industry has high markup, but not near the markup as the weed industry.

plants and corals are very similar as far as what they need to grow.

Ph too low, temp to high? I have no clue about seeds, my clones enjoy a ph of 5.8 and a temp aroud 85*....

I have always germenated in joffy pots or wet paper towls then transplaned to rockwool, but honeslty i never grow from seed. Im sure someone here can help you out.
