Well, the remnants of Hurricane Ike came through the Ohio Valley area with 50-60 MPH winds Sunday, and when I went to check on my plants Sunday night, I found one almost laying on its side, but with roots still in the ground, and another one leaning a bit. I managed to get the worse of the 2 standing upright again, or close enough, and hope that it lasts until the end of the season.
I gave them a good watering since we only got the winds and not the rain from Ike and everything appears good. Here are some updated pics. I am going to start using some molasseses I think. Everything else has been all natural and not nutes used.
The first four are from my smaller plant that is ahead of the older/larger plant. Go figure If you were to guess, how much longer do you think? I forgot to really pay attention to when it started flowering, but it was somewhere around 4 weeks ago maybe.
The second plant was about 2 weeks behind in flowering I think, so I imagine a couple weeks after the first, it will be done.
