Yea, that was all from one branch that was around the middle of the plant, so there are branches with more still on the plant :)

I will know a little later what it is like. I am going to let it dry naturally, although I am going to take a small amount, enough for a bowl of J and "quick dry" it so that I can get a little sampling.

It isn't too bad. I didnt get it too dry, but a nice high. Hopefully it will equate to about an eighth when it is dried.

Here are some updated pics. I think that one of the plants is just about ready, although I have still not yet gotten a microscope to check the trichomes.

First 4 are from the plant that is almost done. Rest are from my other plant.

I know the best way to tell when they are ready is to check the trichromes, but how much longer do you think the first plant has?

Id say a flush for about two weeks now n you should be ready to do the karate chop when thats done!

Do you have a card? Just askin cuz of the neighbors wonderful view of your garden

No need to flush since i have used no nutes. Just a normal watering schedule :)

As for a card, no, and my neighbor doesn't have as good a look as would appear. there is a bush on the other side of the plant and our 6' fence blocks more than what it would appear from the side the pic was taken from.

I was doing some quick math in my head. I think the first plant started to flower sometime around the 2nd week of August, so it has only been flowering for about 6 weeks or so. I guess I still have 2 more weeks or so left, but I am going to be getting a microscope tonight, so hopefully I will know more soon enough. I don't know if I can wait another 2 weeks. lol. It is so tempting when I go to look at them to just cut a couple branches off.

I am doing my best. I just really started noticing how much I want to harvest. Since it will take 2-3 weeks after harvest to be smokable after a cure.

When you harvest, this is when you can take a few of the smaller buds and throw up on a screen with a light breeze. Will not taste as good, but who cares, it is bud your grew with your own hands and sweat.

Well, I went to Radio Shack and got me one of the $12 scopes, and it looks like there are a couple amber trichs, a lot of cloudy, and possibly a couple clear left. I think I am going to let it go for another 7-10 days or so, and possibly harvest then. Will keep an eye on some of the other trichs though to find out for sure. I don't want a complete couchlock, so I am not going to go for mostly amber.

Also, I love how my slower/older plant is going. I had to do a little bending on her because she was getting too tall, and they way it is, there are about 10 stalks going straight into the air, and having the bud grow like they are all main colas. Hopefully she will give me a nice harvest when I get to her. (would like to be able to pull 4-6 zips from her)

As for the one that is closer to being done, I am just hoping for a nice little harvest, maybe 1-4 zips.

Well I harvested 2 branches so far off of my first plant. I wanted to get a head start on it so that I can have an idea what the rest of the plant is going to be like

Well, the 2 branches I took off are almost dry, and I have started to put them in a jar to start a cure. Anyways, they weighed in at 26 or so grams, so almost an ounce off of 2 branches. I could have let them dry a little more, and I will probably lose a bit from the cure, but with those numbers, that leaves me to believe that I can get about 6 or 8 more ounces off of this plant. I might be a little high, but that is nice to think about. I think I am going to hold off about another week or 10 days before I harvest the rest of the plant.

My second plant, if I can get near the numbers of this one, might be closer to a pound since it has 8-10 stalks shooting up like colas and getting the long cola bud on them, but it has at least 2-3 more weeks to go.

And the buds are nice and sticky icky icky :)

Mother nature is certainly trying to pressure me. Today it has been raining most of the day. Well, I went to look at my plants, and my larger plant has a few of the branches almost touching the ground, I assume falling from the weight of the bud and water from the rain. I am not too worried about mold from this rain as after today it is supposed to be sunny and mid 70s for about a week.

It just was a little depressing seeing a couple branches the way they were. Hopefully they will perk back up when they start to dry and the sun comes out.

As a positive note to this post, I had some of the smoke from the 2 branches I took off and it was surprisingly good. I just hope that the rest of the plant finishes up soon :)
