I never thought of that. Maybe ill go grab on of those. The only issue is that the kits i have just found at the fish shops don't have any ph up or down adjustors.

You would of thought the fact they sell kits to test PH would mean they also sell PH adjusters or what would be the point of a PH kit if you cant adjust it? There's ways round that if it is the case, household products can be used but I would recommend proper PH down.

Ok so for the next 3 waterings I should flush 25 percent of the water i add out the bottom? after that normal watering for 2 weeks and then after that do I give the nitrosol another shot or use the gwano pellets instead?

Alright so i watered yesterday with tap water and let 25 percent drain out yet today the plants are even more yellow, the leaves are curling and they generally look worse off then yesterday. Is that what is supposed to happen?

Could you add pics? How was the soil looking in terms of moisture before you watered?

Ill upload one just now when get the time. The soil was moist at the bottom but the top inch and a half was dry. Could have gone without a water for another day or so but i thought it might be better to flush the plants a bit and try to somewhat improves the soil ph.

you can use baking soda and white vinegar for ph up and down in case you cant get ph up and down by general hydro etc.
I would lower lights real close if cfl's and up the wattage.. I would find a way to get your nutrient solution or plain water to 6.5 ph and keep it always at 6.5 ph... after a few weeks.. it will help your soil get closer to the 6.5-7 range.
I personally always feed with 6.5 ph solution or plain water and my runoff is always anywhere from 6.5-6.8

1st thing I would say is it is a mistake to have switched to 12/12 light while they are so unhealthy. If you just made the switch to 12/12 recently and they show no sign of flowering yet, I'd go back to 16 on 8 off and try to get them in better shape before trying to flower them.
You were watering a half cup of water every other day in what looks like 12 liters of soil. That sounds like to little water.
It might be helpful info if you could weigh a pot of your soil mix that you know is dry. Also weigh the pots you just watered then again when you plan to water. This could help determine if you are using enough water and if you are letting them dry out enough before watering again.

Ok so to those of you that were following this thread I ended up figuring out what was wrong. Because i am using such a small grow space the plants were getting way to much light. I moved the light as high up as i could and the plants bounced back pretty fast.
