Alot of weird shit going down under the 1000watt

hello guys. some weird things are goin down in my box. i have 4 plants under 1000 watt hps. hours; 20/4
Nutes: 1 tablespoon FF grow big, 1 teaspoon Earth Juice Microblast
Soil: FF happy frog with added pearlite.
Temp/humidity; 80 - 90 degrees with 30% humidity .

my 4 plants are Honey bear, Cheese, Northern Lights, and White Widow(little one)

so on ALL of them; the bottom leaves have started to yellow with a weird brownish/yellow/ gray burns on random spots and eventually crust up and die. their is some small random spots on older fan leaves a little higher on the plants. it cant be nitrogen, i have like alot of pearlite in my soil lol

WHITE WIDOW PROBLEM(small plant w/ thin leaves); okay this little bitch just wants to give up it seems, their was a pest problem a few weeks ago, noticed some webbing between stems and whatnot and immediatly sprayed with Azamax, havent seen any mites sinc, idk if that has anything to do with the problems tho. the leaves are starting become crisp and thin out, also the leave tips have started to claw. this one has me totally stumped. please help me out. 100_0261.jpg100_0267.jpg100_0262.jpg100_0260.jpg100_0265.jpg100_0255.jpg100_0269.jpg100_0238.jpg100_0254.jpg

so i need better airflow? i ordered a 42inch ocilating fan the other day, im waiting for it to arrive. it should lower the temp to 80(steady)

What are you doing for ventilation? It looks on the pics as if you are only venting the light, but not the grow space?! Is that correct? Where are you venting the light too?
A fan will not drop the temps, it will only mix the air...

the hood takes the air from the whole room to cool the light which vents directly to outside. as far as inside the box, i have 2 standing fans and 1 8in ducting fan taking air out of the box and in to the room. on top of that the windows in the room are open. so it seems like it wouls have good air flow. except i dont have a fan taking fresh air into the room. i just assume with the windows open that air will flow in from outside.

Interesting. Have you considered opening the hood up on the intake side and using it for both, the venting of the tent as well as the cooling of the light.
The sequence would be as follows: 1 passive intake on the bottom of the tent (should be 25% larger in size then the exhaust duct hooked to the fan), next you have to remove the duct that connects to the intake side of the light.... It is a lot easier to draw this for you
I can't promise anything, but I think you will get far better temps this way! Keep in mind that all of this depends on what your ambient temps in the room you are taking the air from, as well as the size of the extraction fan you are using. There are other solutions, but they all cost money. I would give this a shot first ;)

Good luck,
Kind

yes that is the correct way to do it. turn that 8 inch duct fan around take the ducting off the intake side of your light and suck the heat out. it will pull your tent tight so you will lose a bit of space when its ziped up. but just keep your plants away from the walls. also put a dimmer switch on your fan. just cut the side of the cord and expose the black wire and connect it to the black wire on the dimmer switch. and you can run your fan at half or three quarters speed and that will work just fine since its a sealed hood. if you can touch the glass with out burning your hand theres enoughf air moving through it. and the dimmer switch will help with the suction of the walls. its defanitley a low budget grow op but you got to grow some to buy some. and as far as your problem it looks like a lot of damage from mites on those leaves. do you have a microscope to make sure there all dead? but other than that it looks like heat way to much heat.

im still puzzled why he has a HPS on a 20/4 cycle. shouldn't a Metal Halide be in there right now?

You have a few issues~
Leave drooping~ over water, root bound, How big is them pots?
Brown tips and leaf edges~ Nute burn, NOT HEAT burn unless they touch the lights!
How many ppm's how often?

I never under stood why use a hps when they love mh?

And what Knowledge do you gain by asking for the ppm's? I have been reading quite a view of your posts recently, in most of them you ask for ppm's, you are actually quite specific about that, but you never ask for the conversion factor (.5/.64/.7)?! Ask for ec brother, if you want useful information. Also, wouldn't you agree that basic grow room set up is paramount before we start dealing with the content of the grow space?!

sameul just it will work as your fan sucks out the air fresh air will enter the room like gravity fed make 4 " hole on the bottom somewhere have a fan anywhere near the air in as to blow fresh air onto your plants and your set
it will work really well if you got a sealed room
