Am I doing something wrong?

I see about 2-3 oz per plant right now. you would do good to let them grow 2-3 more weeks with no problems then flip them. they just don't look like they will do well going into bloom right now.
Then you will see way more bud.
If you can't control the RH you need to use way less nuts into and through bloom.
Keep up the good work.

So while I was thinking I am healthy my buddy is really beating me out whom is starting flower now and will definitely get 8 per. Have you guys heard of any problems using LED for veg? Is T5 preferred? Or is my short plants due to my nitrogen toxicity and too much pruning. Here's what I'm really trying to get my finger on, is if our difference is mainly due to the different light spectrums or my over pruning and over nutrient.

I have been trimming them every 3 days and I'm thinking that may have been hurting them. Trying to let light and air down into the middle of plant.

And and I can control humidity should I see how the lower nutrient goes at same humidity or also let humidity rise?

Also would my bloom spectrum on the 440 push for vertical growth? I don't mind the electricity cost. Im trying to balance a soon harvest so I can stop buying and also a yield big enough to last so next cycle isn't stressful.

you're asking a whole shit ton of questions....it might have been a good idea to do some more research.
t5s are good for veg if you have enough of them, but it takes a fair few. leds can be excellent for veg, it depends on what the spectrum of the light you have is. if it doesn't have a lot of red it will promote short bushy growth.
the difference in the spectrum you use in veg and flower will make a big difference in the amount of stretch you get. the farther apart they are, the more stretch. if you veg and flower under a 4000k light, you won't get a lot of stretch, if you veg under a 6000k and flower under a 2700k, you'll get a lot more stretch. so the bloom spectrum on your light might make it stretch a little now, but you probably would get little to no stretch when you flip to flower.
i've found that if i transplant into my final container a week before i move the plant to flower, they have enough time to get established in the pot, but still have plenty of room to grow more roots, which they'll want to do during the stretch.
as far as RH goes, i try to maintain 60% in my veg area, but try to stay under 50% in the flower room.
i do defoliate, but i don't do it heavy, the only leaves i pull are the sun leaves on big long stems that hang over a lot of stuff and block light and air. i'll also look down into the plant, and any leaves that are growing into each other, i'll pull at least one of them. i like to shape the plant as it grows, any interior growth thats overlapping either gets trained to grow away from anything else, or gets taken as a clone.

Oh sorry I missed that you are plucking at them. I save that for My guitar. You will need to stop stressing them. Have a look at My grow and the Indica dom. that I am growing it's the nature of the beast.
Second people that grow in soil have no idea what you are talking about with PPM's. You will do great at 400-500 in veg but, keep it low for the week and be patient. I really like this range for the DWC as the PPM's do not get to high when the plant drinks all the water and takes up no nuts. You should see fluctuations up of 100-150PPM. Later on it wont rise (meaning the plant is eating) so, the next time you mix raise the nuts another 150PPM. I hope that makes sense.
If you can bring up your RH that would be great for the same reasons I stated yesterday.
You will know that it is dialed in
I grew My last plant in a Water Farm using only Flora Nova Bloom from start to finish. Just one bottle!
You should look up scottyballs pineapple express grow that's where I learned how to use a DWC(Water Farm)
All of the other info that I know and share is from groweedeasy they have way more answers then I have
Peace:peace:

Again I can't stress enough that you should have a look at scotty's journal It's like the bible for DWC or at least the dead sea scrolls.
You might want to start from a seed next time after reading it! He starts nuts when the first leafs come out at like day 14 w/350PPM and starts flower in 29 days
Great stuff.

I missed how to do it...
What you are looking for is a balance. Then you can start adding nuts. to refill your res.rather than water (water being the easy way change once a week or every 2 gal. water used). In this way you will be able to maintain the reservoir PPM for up to two weeks with out much change in the PPM's

When you go in to top up your res.water look at the PPM if:

Its higher than when you started... The plant likes water so, give it water
and also you might look at lowering PPM unless it's already low enough.

It's lower than you started... You may add the same nuts as what you started this res with for up to 2 weeks.
This way... when you start a new res. after 2 weeks. Do go up another 150- 160 PPM's

It's unchanged... Perfect! Top up with full nuts. and Do Not increase PPM''s with new res. change.

You are going up in increments so the res does not get to high of PPM's and burn the roots when the water gets sucked out!
It's like a balancing act

You will need to maintain Ph during that time.
or you can use the same nuts. that I'm using

If this sounds easy. It is.

Sorry don't know how I missed your responses! Yea joining the board has helped me learn two things that have hindered my growth. Pruning too frequently and too much nutrient. Right now I'm on fresh water and just a little bit of calmag and regular dose of Orca. This is how they look now after 24hr in the fresh water.
