am I flushing to early? Headband grow.

supposedly this is a 11-12 week strain according to the guy I got it from, this friday is the start of week 10. they got there last feeding on mon and first flush yesterday. i was only a little worried I may have started flushing to early because of how many white hairs still exist, not to mention most of the trichs are still clear...a few are starting to cloud up. what do you guys think? they are in smart pots with coco loco. gonna be flushing with clearex, molasses, and tea, alternating days. also heard not to water the last 4 days and leave the lights off? and ideas or thoughts on that? here are a few pics

I need a decent answer to this also. I am close to finishing my first grow myself and have absolutely no clue when to start flushing or o even flush at all. I am using soil and organic nutes. My plants seem to look 1 week or so behind yours.

Like if you see amber trichs is it too late to flush or do you still have time? Do you really need to flush? can I just water with plain ph'd water last 2 weeks?

Flushing is a divisive topic. Some do, some don't and there is no consensus. If you do want to flush, I would start now with plain water as it seems like you have about ~10 - 14 days left. 24 -48 hours of darkness at the end is supposed to increase resin production, but 4 days in the dark seems excessive and might induce mold growth.

If you've got more than one plant going I'd recommend flushing half, not flushing the other, and comparing your own results. Either way, your girls look great and damn frosty. Cheers.

x2 on inducing mold growth with 4 days dark. I had a GDP that i had to toss because PM snuck in on me--in 4 days it covered the plant.

Yeah I was thinkin the same thing about the 4 days...I think im just gonna go with 2 to be safe. The Headband is really gettin chunky so I dont want it to mold. the other strain pictured is a purp sd...only have 3 of em but they sure are pretty. Looks like they are finishing up a little bit quicker too. im still thinkin 10 days on the hb, and maybe 7-8 on the sd...we shall see =) lemme know what ya think. today is day 72.

update on the Headband day 79. Few more days of flushing then it lights out for 2 days!
