Also,i noticed this week some tips on my leaves are turning an orange brown and some leaves are developing spots of the same color. Not sure what its from but seein the state of the tricomes im thinkin shes just bout ready.Oh and this is an outdoor grow in my garden and its a Northern Lights/Haze cross breed. Thanks!

So what color should the tricomes be roughly? Is it an amber and clear tricome head or is it supposed to be a cloudy tricome? Also, its been real crappy weather..nuttin but cloudy and rain past week or so i would probably wait a couple days after the rain anyways to cut her down from all the water stored in her.I should have my pics in an album but couldnt get any pics that close...idk how these kids get pics from inside the magnifying glass lol

Take pix of the whole plant.. normally it wont be done until week 8+ .. never 5 weeks into bloom will it be ready.

please read the FAQ in this section before posting...this is getting mind-numbingly annoying.

and the funny part is I know even if I tell one person theres gonna be 100s more who come in here without reading it.

it's not just some boring BS, it actually has the ANSWERS to the questions you're clogging up this section asking...

uh that FAQ gets right to the point, it has 2 guides that show the 2 MAJOR methods of judging if a plant is done or not, if neither of them work for you you are hopeless.

This is exactly why I made that one thread....and there's your answer......why take the time to read, when you can waste someone elses time, and save yours......it's lazy and selfish.
I love helping people that need help, but try to help yourself too!

if your looking for trichs they should be amber and cloudy very little clear ones if any before there ready.

Are you sure you are actually seeing amber trichomes already? It seems like a NL/Haze cross would take a while. Are you sure its really only in its fifth week of flowering?

I am in a similar situation, if you do not have bud rot/mold like i do, than i would let them go. Mine are going to hell real quick with all this rain. I have NLX cindy 99 cross and trainwreck. THey are both affected, but seems like TW are further along, some I am going to have to leave because they are so far delayed. I def. have 2-3 weeks left @ the minimum, however I have examined the trichs of buds I have had to pull early and see half cloudy and some amber trichs already. If you harvest early you will drastically be taking away from bud maturity, but I think they will still work. I am going to take what I have to and salvage for a longer period of time what stays from getting infected. With all the rain in the forecast I would have to assume that they are going to all have to be taken down very soon, and with no break rain way sooner than I want. Sucks, but at least there is something Anybody else have this problem?

same here, I have a purp outdoor plant that is supposed to be finished by next weekend, but with 4 days of rain in the future, I am debating on chopping asap. This shit in mi/oh/pa area is suckin hardcore
