sorry for the blurple...began lst a bit, I’ll get better pics later but after a few hours in the light they’ve straightened up towards the sun gods. So should I continue tying down daily? I wanna make sure the new growth sees the light...I’ve got a few large fan leaves blocking light I’ve debated trimming orjust pulling aside...thoughts?
Dude get rid of the cling wrap ... that looks sooo scuffed ... You don't have a bunch of empty coke bottles?
Also did you find that the crystal makes it grow better????

Yea I got a great deal...4x4 tent, 4” and 6” fans 4” and 6” carbon filters, 3 “300”w LEDs, a monkey fan, and some wires....I got really lucky...my plan is to move 2 of the leds into maybe a 2x4 tent for veg, one led for clones/sprouts, and then have flowering in the big tent, still not sure which light I want to go with for flowering...
That IS a shit ton of stuff for $100 lol

I dunno about the crystal but so far so good! Yea cling wrap was a last minute clone session at a buddies place, on my way home with a more legit looking container that should work ( kitchen Cambro with clear lid) I don’t drink sodas these days....

If you're on a budget I would highly suggest Mars Hydro. Great lights at a really good price.

4x4 tent, the blurple I came across with the tent and ventilation setup for only 100$. Going to get a higher quality light for flowering. Go ahead and burn me if you’d like but I got 3 lights a tent and vent for 100...it’s my first grow wasn’t trying to lose my shirt purchasing stuff for the setup... I’ve read enough to know blurple isn’t ideal. But for now I’ve got a couple healthy plants, and a wallet with a few extra bills in it so I’m content

Yea thanks for throttling me a bit...I’ve fallen in love with the process...I’ve had large outdoor veggie and herb gardens and had great luck but there’s something super therapeutic about growing my own medicine and controlling the environment...I have really lucked out with my setup costs. But don’t want to get over my head before I can keep a few plants happy, I’m loving reading up on everyone’s techniques and then practicing dif things on dif plants...I’m def gonna run through this first grow slowly but surely...if I’m successful maybe I’ll treat myself with some new things! Thanks everyone for the input! This community has been such a huge help

So just a quick update, after a couple weeks of lst and tweaking daily like a crazy person I took off some of the ties, started nutes and calmag ( sensi A&B, had a buddy that had some laying around, trying to do this first grow without spending too much) been using a 5050 mix of tap water (after letting sit 24hr) and distilled water. My city water is between 7.1-7.4 from the tap so have been using ph down. Soil ph is now around 6.8-7.

Been using 3/4 recommended dose of calmag/gal. And started with 1/3 strength sensi A+B/gal. 3 main plants are roughly 46 days from sprout. Bagseed. Gave calmag dose with a full watering, let dry up. Full regular ph’d watering, let dry up. Gave sensi nutes watering. And just now watered to runoff.

Plants seem happy and have shown new green growth. Sorry for the shit lighting in the pics I’m gonna hang a proper bulb to get better quality pics... before feeding there was some yellowing on a few larger old fan leaves, and some yellowing due to me being a little rough probably when training, no new discolorations or anything, all nice green . Since releasing some of the ties I’m starting to get a nice shape on the plants, as it’s my first grow I’m probably not gonna do any scrog stuff. Just let them do their thing.

I’ve also got 5 fisheye OG clones hopefully rooted by now (about 2wks in dome, starting to let them breathe a bit each day now). And 2 2.5wk old bagseed sprouts that were topped early to just experiment, I know that come flower time or sexing of my 3 oldest I’ll have to play with my space and maybe remove some plants, I’m just having so much fun learning!

Anyway! any feedback/criticism is welcome! Thanks again to everyone here for input and posts I’ve been reading, soaked up tons of knowledge, happy growing!!!
