am i wasting my time?

i got smoe clones from a friend of mine and all the leafs only have 3 not 5. is this grow a bust or keep going. the plants are about 16'' tall :?:

its not a waste of time.. i have plants that have had up to like 13 fingers per leaf and some with as few as maybe three or five.. i've found out thus much from growing, the number of fingers on a leaf have nothing at all to do with the potency or yeild or flavor or potential a plant may posess.. all it really means is that it has three or five or whatever number of fingers per leaf, and nothing else at all..

Never give up on a plant until it is laying dead on the soil. They are very hardy plants and recover from almost anything you can do to them while they are still alive. The number of leaves as stated earlier have nothing to do with the overall health or quality of the plant.

I have also noticed that seeds and clones will often get more fingers as they get bigger and older. I have plants starting with 3 and end up with 9 so they will probably change.

Leaves start with one finger then have 3, 5, 7 up to 13 - well I have seen 13 - may be able to have more??
