Amantia Muscaria?

hey,
i found a sik deal on that mushroom amantia muscaria, or however you spell it and i've herd that its toxic and non-toxic so wich is it?!?!? cuz im about to buy an oz.

It's toxic. But no worries... I've ate nearly a half ounce myself within a few hours (that's several caps). And it didn't really make me feel that nauseous.

It's takes a lot more than your probably would or could eat to be in the danger zone.

Be aware that many Amanitas sold online have been dried and stored for a while, so their active alkaloids may have diminished. I got a Siberian variety (which is the most potent) from Eastern Europe, and I barely felt anything off of them. They're best to get fresh.

I'm sure they're around where you live. They can be a little hard to find, but unlike with cubensis, you can't mistake it for another mushroom. There's nothing else that looks even remotely like Amanita Muscaria except other Amanitas (which are also hallucinogenic, but a little more toxic).

If you do find some good ones, fry it up a little bit and eat it on a sandwhich. It tastes amazingly like fast-food chicken, and this converts some of the ibotec acid (which is the toxic part) into muscimol, the most psychoactive alkaloid found in the mushroom.
