An all blueberry grow

It's been a while since I've posted something on this site but I think this grow should be worth showing off.
In the last journal I was growing an Indica heavy strain (which I've still got clones of for a perpetual harvest) but the grow space was too small and not well ventilated,
so I framed a 10'x10' room with Mylar covering the walls in the basement.
Ventilation was also improved and the Ballast for the 1000 watt hps is located outside the room to reduce excess heat.
Now, I was given 32 seeds of a blueberry strain to grow and they're about a month old, there's three i may trash but the rest are looking awesome.
The only thing about this grow I'm not too happy about is varying bucket sizes, but it should make it more interesting as they bud out.
I'll have pics up tomorrow or the next day, as well as more info for those interested.

Ok So I've got new photos and I noticed a very strange mutant.
I've been breeding a heavy afghanica and these Sativa blueberries and I guess this one didnt mix quite right.
But if its female I'm very interested in the way it will bud out.
just wondering if anyone has any pictures like this one, or info to enlighten me to this new "strain":bigjoint:
I've also included a pic of two leaves to show the difference in genetics.:dunce:

Oh, and I've got earlier pics on my other comp of the mutant that will be up later.

So it seems most of the seedlings went male....
I think I'll grow them out for their pollen and pollenate the female clones
that are vegging.
crossbreeding is something i'd like to get into.
I would've liked a big crop of girls but thats what i get for chancing seeds..
these blueberries have a really nice root system and the ones I want to pollenate
have a shitty root system but produce dense TASTY buds, so if I get the breeding
correct I may have a cross which tastes great, produces thick buds and has an awesome root system.

I've almost got the pollen from the mutant plant
and five out of thirty blueberry seeds are female,
since they were topped they are producing a lot of clone worthy branches
which I'll clone and put back into the flowering room.
then it'll be a guaranteed bud crop.

K got some rapid rooter plugs and some new trays for the clones.
this morning i'll be cloning as many as i can, as well as looking around for info on the plugs
to see if they are easier to use than rockwool or about the same.

So the clones are cut, the mothers are happy and I'm stoked about how easy the plugs are to work with.
they may retain a little too much water but thats nothing I can't work around.
huzzah for clones made easier!

That's funky looking, but I like it. How the hell are the leads so nice and fat when the stem is so little? I am trying to get my hands on some blueberry myself, definitely curious how yours turn out.

Thanx That plant turned out to be a hermaphrodite, I've got the pollen from it,
and its still sprouting hairs.... is that intersexed or hermie I always forget the difference.

I'm thinking of cutting some clones again so I can have a sort of perpetual cycle going with the blueberry.
and I'd like to pollinate the blueberry with the mutant strain. like Reelfiles observed, maybe I can get some weird freak that can grow
as horizontal as possible outdoors with those branches.

That's a hermie then. Shit you can breed some feminized seeds with that, I had that happen accidentally before. To make that phenotype more dominant you should breed the hermie to a another plant then pollinate that offspring with the hermie again.

I like the sound of that, So I guess I'll just portion the pollen out so it can last two generations.
looks like I'll be doing a lot of reading on genetics and things of that nature.
