Does he support decriminalization?
That will tell you alot about him.
Good question, ilkhan ... we'll have to find out. If he doesn't, I'll take the guy in spite of it if he just works to get the federal governemt rechained by the Constitutiion.

Now that is a person of honor! And one great example of the decent men Black Men of America! (Which is in direct contrast of the Obama tool/blight in America. )

One excellent post!!

Wow, quite a compelling figure...he appears to be the anti-Obama.
I checked out his website regarding his stance on the important issues and find myself in agreement with most of his ideas.

I particularly enjoyed these excerpts:

Second Amendment
An armed and informed law-abiding citizenry is the best defense against an unjust government and the criminal element created by irresponsible societal benevolence and activist judges.

...............................................................
Our federal government created this crisis by first developing an entitlement mentality in our housing market, sub-prime mortgages. The Congress then exacerbated the issue with a lack of oversight that is criminal in nature. They now perpetuate the problem with inept foolish plans called “stimulus”, all the while continuing the wasteful system of earmarks, “pork barrel” spending.
To stimulate our economy we must realize that Keynesian tax and spend economic theory does not work. The public sector shall never grow the economy, that comes from the private sector. When I hear our new President speak of building an economy from the bottom up, well, you just have to cringe.

Sure, West is charismatic, smart and speaks the language of the tea party folks, but there was very little substance in what he's saying, kind of like what you people accuse Obama of all the time. Also, you know why he had to leave the military, right? I'm not saying it was right, I'm just saying....

My guess is he's like all the other fire-breathing conservatives: all for liberty when it comes to taxes, guns and pollution, but against it when it comes to abortion, marijuana and gay rights. But we'll see. I think he has a good chance of winning FL-22.

Oh, and I just checked out his website....

The part about immigration made me want to throw up. He actually cites michael savage when discussing the issue, which should tell you something.

The only Savage citation is four words: borders, culture, and language.

I do not like Savage (he is too shrill for my taste), but I am in perfect accord with the meaning and import of the above phrase.

BTW I have some really Potent ICE which would be quite efficacious for your nausea.
Come on over and we can spark one up, I also have a large bucket just in case!

redivder ...

Please define the term "Conservative" as you see it ... and please don't mention George Bush, as he wasn't a conservative. In fact, anyone who espouses the suppression of the rights of others, even in the name of compassion, is not a conservative.

Be careful when talking about all of us 'fire-breathing' Conservatives. A typical trap Progressives fall into when discussing us.

Abortion is a privacy issue at its heart- regardless of any personal feelings on the subject.

Cannabis - Freedom. That is all.

Gay rights - I think the 14th Amendment covers this issue. In other words, who cares what someone does in their bedroom with another consenting adult?

I two Gays want to cohabitate, and as long as they don't try to foist their "Gayness" on other people, who cares?

If a person believes in a Supreme Being, and doesn't try to foist his/her religious beliefs on others, who cares?

Sounds about right to me.

I'd gladly take you up on that ice:bigjoint:we might have to avoid talking politics though or I might really need that bucket.

As for savage, I don't think he's shrill...I think he's hateful and deranged.

What the anti-immigrant crowd doesn't get is that we need to let in more of the right immigrants as well as making sure the wrong ones don't get in or stay. We need to better more to encourage smart people from everywhere to come here and help our economy. We've also needed a lot of unskilled labour, which is why so many people try to sneak in...

I agree with all the things you said, but most of the republican party doesn't...
