An early sample

We're getting closer and closer to that special time. I picked a little early bud sample. Full fruity flavour and packed with resin and still has at least a few more weeks. I realize I could have trimmed a tad better but it was just so covered in crystals :hump:

She'd be long rotten if I waited until halloween. Never worked with Sensi Seeds' Skunk Kush before but from previous experience we're talking mid to late September. aka a few more weeks :mrgreen:

Mine are a few weeks away, i did the same thing lastnight... i just can't wait to try my kush. The bud weight was 1.8g yesterday after cut and manicured, today is 1.0g. Any got tips on a quick dry that wont make it taste real bad?

there are other posts on this, but the best way is to either get a food dehydrator from like walmart or stick it in the oven at like 90 for a little while, or if you're in a rush and don't want to wait that long you can always stick it in the microwave for 5 seconds, let it cool, and repeat till it's done, but that basically vaporizes the weed and takes away potetcy. come to think of it, the best way would probly be to just skip that part and vaporize it the way it is.

that doesn't work from my experience, weed wont really get you high if you smoke it wet. i have tried all kinds of quick drying methods, and most all of them hurt potency a LOT! not to mention taste, although i do have a few ways that work ok.

put a piece of paper on the top of your computer monitor and leave your screen on all night with the buds diced up and spread evenly on the paper. when you wake up they will be crispy dry and wont taste to horrible either.

or (this works better in the winter) put it on a plate next to a heat vent (preferably one under a couch or bed so the heat doesn't just rise away) and leave it over night.

maybe it's just me but i don't think my buds are as strong as they could be untill they have been drying (or dry)for about a week.

Thanks, yea I think I can wait a few more weeks for the potency. If harvested buds are even 10% more potent than the sample I tried I'd be happy. I also can't wait for the true taste after she hits the jars for a month.

i wasn't talking about smoking it, i meant put it in a vaporizer. the wetter it is, the more vapor you will get out of it. as far as potency goes, idk if it will be as good fresh, what i usually do is let it get real dry, then stick it in a air tight container with some lemon peels till they get soft again. the lemon also makes it taste better.
