An Observation re liberals/dems

lmao, no you do not understand.

I would rather see dems in, because they are not afraid of gay people, and very much more pro weed.

Economically, it really doesn't matter who is in, so why be scared? It is the nutbags that think that it actually will change something, or if it will somehow end civilization as we know it. I learned this after W's second term. The world keeps on rolling.
here we go, its all about the gays. dude, get fucking real.

gonna go out on a limb here, there are more straight people victimized by hate crime than gays. yes i said it. yes there was some hidious crimes committed against some gay people. no doubt. but lets get real. its not liek there are bands of people walking around bashing gays, it just aint the case. its a red herring.

now rape? there is a hate crime and committed daily. so get off your little gay horse and step into reality.

that last line made me chuckle :-P

Im not gay nor does the thought of you checking out my ass appeal to me. But Im gonna go out on a limb here and say it is more than just hate crimes that are at issue. I myself was against the hate crimes legislation from a while back. I feel anyone who gets the shit kicked out of them is the victim of a hate crime. It shouldn't be less of a crime to beat the shit out of me because of my tattoos than it is to beat the shit out of someone else because they prefer the cock over a vagina.

But discrimination against gays runs rampant. If gays want to get married I say let them. Then they can be just as miserable as the rest of us. If gays want to be in the military I say let them. As long as they can abide by the same rules as a straight soldier then why not. Short of two guys fucking in the middle of the mess hall it shouldnt be a problem. It isnt as if a guy and a girl are allowed to fuck in the mess hall either.

I simply don't like politicians trying to legislate morality. That isn't their job!

i never understood the whole hate crime thing either. if you kill me cuz you hate me or love me, either way i am dead and the person who killed me should be penalized the same. its insanity to sit in a court room and try to contemplate the underlying reason a violent crime was committed. bottom line it was committed and should be punishable the same way each time.

basically its judicial discrimination and its wrong....2 cents please.

I'm a Libertarian of many years standing. I'm definitely not against Gays. As a Libertarian, I firmly believe that people have the right to debase themselves anyway they see fit, as long as they don't infringe upon the rights of another in the process.

My point is that republicans, when their core values are out of favor, stick with them anyway. Bush never faltered as his popularity declined. But democrats, since their core values are such that they can't afford to let the people see them, are used to donning a set of phony values for us to see. And therefore they find it easy to duck into a phone booth and change key positions. Soon we will hear Obama talking about limited government, tax cuts and entrepreneurship. All bullshit. Democrats find it easy to pretend to embrace all they despise when the situation calls for it. But I don't think we'll be fooled again.
Yeah, Republicans are the answer. The true messiah, right? You criticize those who dogmatically lapped the heals of one man, yet you do it to one party. Do you see it? You sound exactly the same. Exactly the same! Republicans, Democrats - they're both full of shit. You're arguing for one - others argue the other, but if you believe one or the other is the answer, you're delusional. Simply delusional. Take a step back and look at what you wrote. You sound exactly the same!

They're all rich. They're all owned by corporations. Neither represent the interests of the people. I'd say they share more similarities than what you're willing to admit.
So, are you ready to join Sarah Palin and the TEA Party?

Palin doesn't bother me one bit. She's stupid, but that makes her a better pick than most. As for the TEAbaggers, they're supported by big business, so I won't join them. I do wish we had more people like Palin to shake things up.

In an ideal world, WWE wrestlers would be the only candidates for politicians. They get my vote. So fuck off Jeff and Cracker. Your mob bullying tactics are playground pathetic. Have you no satisfaction in your lives that you troll a growing website and gang up on people offering their thoughts?

And BTW Cracker, I'm still waiting on a response in another thread. Numbers, numbers, numbers...

demonstrates that you dont have much understanding what the tea parties are. its a purely grass roots uprising. what really funny is the peop;e who are supposed to be "for the people" really hate the teaparty. despise is a better word. yet they should be supportive of them because its a populast movement.

palin would ake and awesome president.

The TEA party is funded by huge corporations. Period.

"Despite attempts to make the “movement” appear organic, the principle organizers of the local events are actually the lobbyist-run think tanks Americans for Prosperity and Freedom Works. The two groups are heavily staffed and well funded, and are providing all the logistical and public relations work necessary for planning coast-to-coast protests"

As for populist movements, great; but the TEAbagger's are lobbyist driven. Peruse this site: opensecrets.org.

Since the tea parties are funded by the evil corporations and in fact, the entire republican party is - why not just take a short cut and make it illegal for anyone to spend any money on any campaign other than those of liberal democrats?
