Another Cal Mag Question

The soil is already moist in my outdoor container and I was
wondering if it would be safe to add cal mag during this moist
period? Looks like one of my plants need a dose of cal mag
pretty quick so that is why I am asking. I think if I wait for the soil
to dry out 2-3 days before adding the cal mag, the signs of deficiency could spread worse in that time. but like I said, the plant
looks like it needs the cal mag now and not later.
I'm thinking if I water with the cal mag now to the already moist soil, then I would be over watering the plant thus causing further problems?


Any help with this would be very much appreciated and thanks
in advance! : )

Have you thought about foliar feeding the calmag?

No I haven't thought of that. If I may ask how do you go about this?
The plant is in it's 3rd month of veg state. Also, does foilar feeding work as well
as watering?

Some people swear by only foliar feeding nutes and other additives to the plants and just plain water the roots. I personally dont do this but i do use EPSOM salts as a foliar if i need to.

You should try it on a small area first to make sure you dont get any negative side effects but other than that go for a 1/4 dose that you would normally feed to the roots.

1/4 dose of cal mag to 1/4 of the amount of water I use
for watering to avoid over saturation?

Say for instance you were going to use 5ml per 1litre then only use 1.25ml per 1litre.

Make sense?
