I've got a couple clones and the 2 WW's still in. Once everything that's left is grown out I will probably take a little time off. Lease is up March, so i don't want to have anything going by that time. I could also use a little break from the stress lol. My first time growing so I am still adjusting to the occasional paranoid thought, lol. Next grow, I will probably grow out one or two bushy plants at a time and sample a few different strains, see what I like, then reevaluate at that time. I will continue to slowly upgrade my equipment and nutes. If and when I decide to take it up a notch, I should be fully prepared.

Anyway, here's a couple pics of whats left. The big WW is sexy ass BBW, more cushion for the pushin'! I wish i had some clones from her, it's going to be such a bigger yielder than the NL and her clones. But I will definitely run a seedcrop from the Seedsman WW line in the future, I'm really looking forward to making my own crosses someday.

I started off completely CFL's, but eventually i bought a 70watt HPS security light from lowes for $35 and threw that in. Then, last week i bought another 70watt HPS, and tossed it in. The NL that i harvested a couple days ago was about 70% completely CFL, with the last 3 weeks or so with the additional HPS. I got an early nug a week or so ago, let it cure about 5 days, then smoked it. I gotta say that it was fucking delicious. The buds aren't gonna be huge weight, but it's some really nice smoke, and I've done it on a shoestring budget thus far.

chopped the first NL clone, it really purped up this time, i think i got it dialed in better, combined with lowering fall temps. The NL wasn't really much of a yielder. After a 3 week cure it doesn't have a very strong odor or flavor either. What taste it does have is a sweet pine flavor with a hint of fruitiness. I would grade the KC Brains NL Special right around average. There are probably better $20 seeds out there.

purped up this time for sure. I know you say it isn't all that tasty.... but damn.... it sure looks tasty.

Thanks for the update bro.

well, after a lifetime of smoking commercial mexiweed it's tasty as shit to me still, but i know a lot of people that hang out here wouldn't consider it so. I'm also comparing it to the WW i got going. I nipped a small popcorn bud a week or two ago and sampled it, it had a lot stronger flavor and is much heavier. Although it doesn't have that fine pine flavor im searching for.

The white widow I grew acted strange on me. Mine looked and smelled to be of very high quality, but the high was not anywhere near great.

Here's to your WW kicking the shit out of mine!

ya that seems to be a common refrain, i don't smoke that much either, so my tolerance is pretty low. I'll prolly mix it up smoking the NL and the WW to keep from getting too high of a tolerance from either one. The tude has a really nice UFO coming up in a couple days, ill pick up 7 or 8 different strains to be able to try out, one at a time, over the coming months.

Hey. You can't grow with CFLs....JK. I think you're off to a fabulous start. Also, you have enough Indica genes present...or are those levi's? Wanted to tell you that I grew out NL special once and my friends said it was the best they ever had. Now I grow proper and cure proper so that makes a difference but I do highly recommend NL Special. I see donkeyote said "NL Special was bred from a Sensi NL crossed with a haze female" but I wouldn't have thought that unless the F2s were back crossed to the NL a few times. A strain like this teaches that you don't have to get any of the top 40 strains nor an HID to get good smoke.

NL Special from 2004 I grew out. It was amazing. I bit too much body for me though but friends said it was perfect one hit weed. It was exactly as described by KC.
