another cfl grow

i hear that bro. i got to get this shop starter, that way i can get a room and go from there. i will go hid with cool tubes . the cfl's and leds will make a good veg setup then. i am still reading everything i find on the dwc, but still thinking once i learn i can switch it to a rdwc. been trying to find black 3.5 to 7 gallon buckets. price is way too high. i was looking through a mag we get here at work, called uline, address is uline.com have black buckets if you buy 5 bucket set, 3.5- 5.20, 5- 4.69, 6- 8.10, 7- 9.55 each and the solid snap on lid is 1.40 each. i thought it was a good price, but i know there would shipping, but if you find black around here it is double the price of the other colors.

pink is not the pink trait i was hoping for, and i wish they hadn't of got stunted by the cold. but she is getting thick. i got her on the thin side so you can see almost the whole plant is flower. i may have to reveg her and get some clones. we will see how she smokes. she is about 12" from soil. she is 73 days old.

kush is a bitch, she has been a pain. shes about 9" tall and by far the strongest smelling of the three. i never could get the twist out of her. she is 75 days old and i believe she will finish first. as far as reveg on her we will see.

special is doing great. she is a tough strain what ever the hell she is. no reveg on her as i have more of them. she is about 11" and has a ways to go yet. she is 71 days old.

the diesels are still vegging and doing great after i raised the lights, i'm sure the transplant helped too. they are 29 days old now. i have tried fim on them, i tried that on the other three and the special is the only one that it made a difference on.

If you go dwc get the lids with the net pots built in already. The cut out a hole in the lid, and drop in net pots in the lid method always frickin breaks the lids after a couple months, and then your plants fall into the rez. It sucks.....alot. Ladies look good. I wouldnt reveg. Just take diesel clones if you have too. Those are too far into flower imo. Beans are like five bucks a piece. I know a company who ships one or two or three. Pm me if you need the name.

your right as i have more of them beans, and she didn't show the pink trait that i wanted. i had heard that after the plant got bigger that them lids wouldn't stay in place. even if they didn't is would still be better then the basket breaking. i plan on dwc and i'm going to use bag seed for first run, i figure i may end up killing them. i got a place for five bucks each. ordered 2 northern lights fem, 2 blue dream fem, 2 c99 fem, 2 trainwreck fem, and 1 purple pineberry fem. hope to hear something soon. peace bro

making changes, i'm not all cfl anymore. i have a 100 watt hps, two 20 watt led floods and four 55 watt cfls in a cage i made yesterday for the light cycle if not outside in the sun light. i have a new box for the dark cycle for the three midgets to go in. i'm turning the old box over for veg, my sour diesels have doubled in size since last pics, them and my 12 bag seed babies are going in the box and not in my closet anymore. pics later. peace

new flowering cage for the girls for when the weather is to bad for them to go outside. right now it is four 55 watt cfls and one 100 watt hps. two car windshield shades $4.00 each and a little wood work.

packed veg box, waiting for better weather. the bigger ones are sour diesels and they decided they didn't want to be short nomore. i bet the stretched a foot last week. i got more light on them so i hope it slows them down. i tried to fem them it made some changes, then i topped them in hopes of slowing them. diesels are 37 days old.

the girls are moving alone.

yes it has been, and i'm looking at another nice warm sunday and another cold monday coming up next weekend too. i try to put them outside every chance i get, it makes the buds better. can't wait till they all go outside to stay.

bro good of you to stop by. my thread had been slow, but midget plants aren't the best to look at. i'm ready for spring, got 15 in veg waiting to go out plus i'm going to add a couple to the mix i got in the mail the other day. peace

thanks bro, i do try to keep up with everybody, between here and the other sites. most are still here, seems only three of us on the talk site. hell i can't remember if i updated there last sunday. if not i will this weekend.

thanks bro. the sour diesels are hitting the hood in my box, so this weather has to break soon, either that or i got to make changes to the lighting. i'm liking my little cage for the midgets. they seem to like it too. i really think they like that little hps. i know if i had used it in my box the heat would be way to high, with the cage it runs real nice. i know after the 55 watt bulbs came out of the box the temps stay at room temp.
