It truly is, however it really is a full time job. We have 2 care takers who rotate shifts of one week on and one week off. On top of that 2 or 3 extra guys are hired just to do the transplanting and de-leafing. We usually do this in the same day we crop. We hire about 15 trimmers and get one room done in about 12 hours. We run a perpetual harvest every 2 weeks, so it's never ending that's for sure. The worst is moving the veg plants upstairs to the flower room.

Whats your cost annalist for production on that scale?
I'm not sure what the electricity bill or nutrient bill is. I know the rent for the property which also has a big ass log house on the property is $7000. This weekend we prob payed about $2000 in wages. If I had to guess I'd say the power bill is prob around $15,000 a month. And we usually crop 50 lbs every 2 weeks.

How many strains? Which ones? Clones or seeds? Any hash making with trim?
It's Purple Kush...Boring I know. Everything is from clone, we just buy them. All the machine trim gets sold, except for what I am able to use for making my own edibles, topicals, and shatters. All the fan leaves and what not goes in the garbage. I'm currently trying to find a cost effective use for it, but I'm not sure yet. Any ideas??

Personally, I certainly would produce my own clones, unless you buy them for a song. I give my trim to another buddy who also grows but loves to make hash. Were I you, I would have a concurrent hash operation. Ever since being involved in a hash shipment years ago and crowbarring off the top of one of the wooden boxex and seeing stacks of uniform bricks with a nice personalized stamp embedded into each brick I have dreamed of creating the same with my own stamp.

Well i already make everything I could possibly dream of with the machine trim, its just I hate seeing all the Fan leaves go to waste. A Someone told me i should run them threw a clothes washing machine and then drain into bubble bags. I Just havnt tried because i dont want to go thru all that trouble for nothing.

Sorry, I now see your question was about what was truly waste. Yeah, I would not bother either.

We havnt had to much bad luck with anything. Our biggest problem is lazy ppl, breaking branches, not doing their job and what not. We usually spray every room after each crop to ensure we don't get bugs, however our last caretaker decided he didn't feel like spraying one day and guess what???? So its been a bitch trying to get rid of them but im pretty confident we got them last crop

I'm sure there is nothing easy about it,farmers work hard,my grandparents and their parents and their parents before them farmed the southwest side of the central valley in ca.for decades some of the hardest working people you would ever know.I don't care what you farm you have to earn it cause it's not a very forgiving livelyhood. Best of luck to you
