Another Nirvana horror story, without a happy ending...props for attitude.

Well I recently joined the community, did a lot of research, and went ahead and set everything up and ordered 5 different strains of feminized seeds from nirvana. I was pretty excited around the ten day mark, checking the mail within minutes of it arriving every day....but no package. I checked, and checked, and checked...nothing. I contact Customer support at day 19 and was told to just wait a little longer. I waited until a month had gone by and contacted again. This time "alice" responded instead of "charlie". I was told that they were most likely lost or confiscated and "just this once" they would resend HALF MY ORDER. Not the whole thing, not a refund, no appology. Just that I would now get three strains of feminized seeds for about $280 instead of six.

During this time period I made two smaller orders with Attitude for seeds that are not nirvana strains and they arrived promptly (I actually have gotten both orders and they were made consecutively).

My main point is that even though they say they are not responsible for lost or confiscated packages, how do we know that they were ever shipped, that they were labled correctly to the right address, and that the proper amount of postage was paid or they had a return address? All of these would result in non delivery.

I am still working things out with them at the moment, but I can say from a first time user, despite all other posts in either direction there is one thing you can say for attitude...they CAN prove they shipped, to where, and when by tracking. Thats a pretty good reassurance for the newbie.

At this point I would give Nirvana an F for customer service, and for quality (because the invisible plants suck at the moment.

Attitude would get a A for customer service, quality I dont know but I can say that I put 4 seeds into germ and all 4 popped in 24 hours and look good.

nirvana doesnt give you a tracking number?without that there is no way to know if your package was even shipped.I just placed my first order from attitude,I didnt get a tracking # so I emailed them last night and just checked my email and they sent it to me,and it is a valid tracking number.I thought about ordering from them but with no tracking number I will stick with attitude

tell them to check these thread u just started at riu give them the link, and that if they dont fix those kind of issues u going to fcked them up here, i heard lotsa people do that and they come giving u seeds like its thanksgiving sale

Sorry abt your misfortune. I had to learn this also the hard way. I now make small orders, 1 strain maybe 2. This way a loss of less than a 100 doesn't hurt as badly as what just happened. good luck with the grow

If you use the 'tude, you can get guaranteed delivery, if you get a shirt.
Yeah but if you read the small print it says there is still no "guarantee" for United States orders. But I've always gotten my seeds from attitude in 6 days with no need for customer support, so I would say they are the best.

That sucks man, but it's just one of the risks you take when ordering seeds online. Personally, If I was ordering $280 worth of seeds I don't think I'd do it all in one order. Breaking it up into 2 or even 3 orders cost extra with the additional shipping, but if one gets lost or confiscated it's not a complete loss. I ordered from Nirvana once a few months ago and it was here in about a week with no problems. Attitude actually carries Nirvana beans, so if you're set on Nirvana genetics you can always order them from there. I guess you can't really blame them for not reshipping the whole order again. If they did that every time, then anyone and everyone can say they never got their beans.

Wow I was thinking you got the beans and they turning into monster plants and ass raped you or something by the title. Look I am not going to sit hear and blow nirvana but I placed my first order with them I got a whole 15 seeds not too much and had it at my door in 5 days.

They have produced awesome plants and great smoke.

I dont see how you can be pissed at nirvana. They didnt do anything to you. The turth is you tried to get something against the law into the country threw the U.S. mail. Did you rly think it would be 100% safe? The fact that they replaced 1/2 the order 140.00$ its cool too me. There is a lot of seed companies that would say wow sucks to be you dude. And I am sure there are others that would say oh wow man heres your order shipped again and some free beans for the issues.

Bottom line when you break the law or try to you should be happy with whatever happens as long as you dont end up in jail. And dont just bash a company that alot of us use and have had alot of success with over a 1 time event that wasnt thier fault.

Does the Netherlands even have an international tracking system that's compatible with the USPS? I'm not trying to kiss Nirvana's ass either, but I don't think we have all the facts (at least I don't). The thing with Attitude is that they are shipped out of the UK and you are given a tracking number from Royal Mail, which once it leaves the UK you can check it via the USPS. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I'm guessing USPS and Royal Mail have some kind of agreement that allows the two systems to work together. Maybe the US and the Netherlands don't have such an agreement. I dunno, maybe Nirvana does get a tracking number, but they decide not to use it because once it leaves the Netherlands they can't track it further. That would be my guess.

they never shipped them I've had non-seed orders get taken by customs and have always been sent a letter saying such and such i ordered from over seas was considered contraband in the US and given a time limit and options to get a hold of them to get the stuff sent rest of the way to me. (was filters for electric cigarette to stop smoking)

Ive only ordered once with nirvana and I recieved my beans in about 2wks, but Ive placed nearly 30 orders with attitude over last couple years and only once did I have a problem where my order got lost in usps, not confiscated where I got a note from customs. I waited about a month before I emailed attitude about the issue and after a couple back and forths they re-sent my seeds and I got them registered mail just to be sure I actually go them. The problem was the order that got lost was during the quad promo which had 7free fem seeds, 3 ufo's and my pack of violator kush that I ordered. Well when I got the order reshipped it didnt have the same promo seeds but it did have the same amount of free seeds I would've recieved so I was reasonably happy. I later emailed them and asked them if there was any way I could get the the seeds that were in the quad promo and they told me to leave a notation in the customer box on the ordering form and they would do what they could. Well they ended up giving me every seed that was in the quad promo except the sour kush cause it was just a one time deal from dna for the promo, they also gave me all 4 ufo's which my order was not big enough that I should have gotten all of them, plus 2 other freebies from paradise seeds and of course my pack of applejack that I ordered. So in the end I ordered a pack of violator kush, picknmix blue cheese, pack of applejack...and recieved 21 free feminized seeds from various reputable breeders...my total cost was about $150, but including what I ordered I think its a total of 33 or 34 fem'd seeds I ended up getting. So goes without saying I got hooked up big time, its not like they were giving me seeds from no name breeders, they were from dna, dinafem, reserva privada, serious, paradise, soma,barney's farm, magus genetics, kannabia, G13 etc. all bad ass breeders that I normally use. I think the best thing I did was be patient and polite, not bombard them with demanding emails but rather just a few emails explaining my situation and asking if there was anything that could be done, while making it clear that I knew it wasnt there fault and regardless they still had my business, I wasnt trying to extort the seeds out of them by saying "hey if you dont do this I will ruin you on the forums, or wont ever use your bank again" nothing along those lines that some people try to do. Bottom line even though it took awhile to get resolved, not only did they thank me for my patience but they seriously took care of me and made me feel like I was using the best seedbank in the world, which I honestly believe, although I wish there shipping prices were a few bucks cheaper, but Im glad I had the guaranteed shipping the one time I needed, not to mention I have a closet full of t-shirts, which if you familiar with I would advise ordering a bigger size than you wear cause they always shrink. On the other hand I have nothing bad to say about nirvana except dont buy their autos, 2 strains vegged for over 6wks before flowering and the jock horror auto vegged up until a week ago which was about 12wks of veg, where basically the others will be done in couple of weeks. I will always suggest attitude with the guaranteed shipping to anyone looking for the most reliable seedbank with the largest selection of any other seedbank. Sorry to right half a book here but attitude deserves all the praise I can give them for how they took care of me, they went above and beyond without me having to hassle them almost at all, its like that saying "you get more with sugar then you do with vinegar.." lol or something like that, you get my point...have a good weekend everyone, peace!
