Hello folks, i am new to growing indoors but i have done a lot of research.

I recently started my grow, I am using a 1000W MH to start, i have good vent and exhaust and i have just recivied my clones.

the problem i am having i beleive is because of the soil choice. Its miracle grow soil with the time release crap. ( i know i should have chosen something better)

When the clones arrived the had slight yellowing to the leaves.. Some of the leaves are burnt right a long the tips, and a few are turning upwards. I don't really know what to do. Some say flush but, im not even sure how to do that. HELP please

Sounds sort of typical of clones. Don't worry just get them going on a schedule. I would spray them and treat them as if they had buds. It is just a good policy.

listen to mogie, clones someone will look rough, they are just trying to survive. Before i make my clones, i make sure to use nutewater for my cubes, at about 200 ppm, that helps when roots form to not use up all their internal nutes, plant them and give them time.

yep definatley listen to mogie about the clones... as for your soil, im not a big fan of MG... Im currently trying to work through a nute lock up problem because of this crap they call soil =D... I have been growing with foxfarm after i realized i would run into endless problems with MG.

heres a pic to see what im talking about
that actually looks more like a lil nutes burn then dried out leaves of a fresh clone... for the next time don't use soil with time-released in it, rather use jiffy pellets they work far better anyway, just them for years to grow everything in them you can name, pre-grown my outdoor plants with them and still won't use anything else to start my tomatoes with:mrgreen:

you may just rebury your clone in a soaked jiffy pellet, that should solve the problem if it is not to damaged already;) good luck buddy with that one, keep em green:)

people usually have problems with jiffy pellets, delicate cannabis roots have a hard time gettign through the nylon.

that clones leafs could be mistaken as nute burn, but clones that have leaf edges looking like that is a normal occurance. be worried if it continues.
