Another one of the 100s of yield post

Is 4-5 lbs a reasonable expectation from 2600 watts hps in a 5x10.5 ft area in soil? I typically average 1.5-1.75 lbs in a 1000watt 4.5x4.5ft tent

Sounds pretty unreasonable
But I wish you get as close as possible.

My answer assumed you were talking top quality dry buds only

how much hort experience have you...?

and its a millions of them noobs that ask not 100's

good luck

ps reply STANDARD ...'aboot a pound'
I'm no pro but I tend to receive good results. Quality is always prime. Yeilds typicly around .7 gpw. Just throwing in more light and plants to increase yeilds and frequency. What would you expect from such set up? Plants are already vegged and I have 2/3rds of canopy filled, just a little room left for stretch

I could pull a minimum of 3 off of 2000 watts in separate 4x4 tents. I think experience is being underestimated due to the "noob" type question lol. Not a new grower just trying to expand. I appreciate any and all input!

I have 8 girls in a 5x12 trellis under 3 de 600w gavitas, aiming for 2 a light. 1.5 off a 1k light should be easy imo, id be aiming higher!

Basically I know my yield for every 1000w in every 4.5 x 4.5ft is minimum 1lb. I'm trying to figure out if it worth it to spread thing out and put a 600 in the middle which would be an additional 2.5x 4.5 ft

If you don't mind me asking how much do you typically yeilds from that set up? I will be switching to cmh here soon and I've heard they yeild similar to the 600s

I did use the yeild calculator on anglefire for hps upgrades and it said I could yeild more with a little more space with my lights. I can alter the 5ft to enlarge space but the 10.5ft are stationary walls. And I feel if I go to 6 or even 5.5ft I'm diminishing the intensity of my light footprint

my first round with these lights I only had 2 of them, 6 plants. 4 glue, 2 golden strawberry and pulled a little over 1400g dried and trimmed, about 3 pounds off the 2 lights. (strawberry didn't yield for shit tho) I have a friend that's running 9 315 cmh in a 10x10 and he pulled 7 pounds dried and trimmed, it was a bit over a gram per watt. Also makes me want to switch to cmh lol

Exactly why I am!!! So about 1.5 per light for your 600s? Does he run into heat issue with cmhs? I want 2 replace 2000 watts with 5 cmhs

yah 1.5 that round but i know i can hit 2 a light with better genetics maybe even more. No heat issues with a 3ton mini split!
I only have 1 ton ac ATM so it's becoming and issue with more hps, part of the savings with cmh to! I feel like I'm gonna hit my goal tho on this one now
