Another ph question

Im growing soil so wat should the ph be going into the soil ??? Should it be 5.7 to 6.0 ??

that's a little low for soil - 6.0-6.5 is best

The ideal pH range for hydroponics is from 5.8 – 6.8.

i put water that was ph of 6 in so and tested the run off and it was 4? should i put my ph at 8 and then it will be at 7?
