Another soil thread - new to organics

I'm taking the liberty of starting a new thread for my soil mix. I've read many threads with different ingredients and mix ratios, and I don't have access to all the "american" ingredients, so I'll have to go with what I have..

From what I understand, organic soil should settle before use. I have soil leftovers from an outdoor grow in pots, so I guess these should have all the bacteria and fungi up and going already? I grew autos which yielded 2-3 grams each, so I guess there's alot of nutrients left. I mixed in 20% rabbit poo with organic bag soil w/natural fertilizers.
I suspect the mix might have been too strong, because the growth of the plants were stunted, and when I pulled them 2 months later, I could still pull the plant with the rootball from the sprouting container still intact. Maybe the mix was so strong that the roots didn't go too much into the surrounding soil?

I'm making a 16 gallon mix. If I mix 8 gallons of my used/"used" soil with 8 gallons of bag soil, how much blood meal and bone meal should I mix in?
I have some lots of half finished compost, but I guess this is no good in a soil mix? Perhaps I can put an inch of this in the bottomn?
Unfortunately, I don't have access to wormcastings...

Any thoughts? =o)

i would ditch the outside soil and start fresh. your just asking for a pest problem when you do that. for the bone and blood meal, i use 1 cup each per cu ft, but thats to a base soil that has no nutrients. if you provide more info on the bag soil your using, you could get a better answer as far as ratios.

The pot soil is from bags, its just been outside in pots sinse mid summer... from what I read on different forum, people can't agree on bringing outside stuff inside.
Some claim it can cause pest problems, other say it will bring beneficial organisms.. for organic grow that is...
The only reason I want to use some of the old soil, is to get a kick start with bacteria and fungi.. I have to transplant yesterday and have no time to wait for a month to let the soil settle...

I'm having some trouble translating all the content in the soil but it has won several test for use in kitchen garden and grow house..

Pr m3:
8kg chicken manure
5kg limestone meal
2kg dolomite meal

Primary nutrients mg/l
Nitrate 105
Ammonium 45
Total N 2020
P 13
K 150

Secondary nutrients mg/l
Ca 270
Mg 195
Na 53
S 57

Not sure if metric scales means anything to you, but I guess I could convert it its a problem, and essential to give any advice....

This is far from empty base soil... maybe I should go ahead and mix half a cup pr cubic ft and just rely on adding more nutrients later.. my girls are really fucked up, either from low soil ph or low ph from overwatering, and need a transplant asap...

i see people debate on using outside soil inside too but the thing you should ask yourself is there any extra benefit of reusing outside soil and is it worth a serious pest problem??
there are plenty of different ways to kick start soil microbes and bacteria/fungi without risking bugs. does your soil have anything else in it besides what you listed? it seems like its only manure.
