Another "Two more weeks?" thread

This plant was stunted hard early on by over watering. Later, it was almost killed by frying it because I forgot to water it for a few days. Now, it is nice and healthy, obviously not as full and lush as it should have been, but im ready to chop it so I can move others in. It is a Blueberry Cupcake from HSC. I finally got a loupe in and did my best to get shots of the trichs. How much time do you think I'm looking at before I can chop her? Two more weeks? Thanks in advance!!

So i get that it's done. I will be chopping tomorrow. It has obviously been stunted and I'm sure it will never pack on weight due to that. Are y'all saying it's done because it's all wimpy looking or because the flower is ripened to done and you would harvest it because it's done if it were a healthy plant? Is this thing going to be a waste or will the bit of bud I get from it be just fine but not near the quantity it should have been?

@Hook Daddy I missed the 3 chops in a row reference. Can you fill me in?

Thanks again all

I think if it was healthier the yield will be more. But it’s not that unhealthy that the trichomes are losing heads/buds yellowing out.

So potency will be fine just a little less yield :)

I’d love to smoke some tho :D

No green (except for the slightest on the sugar leaves), so no photosynthesis.
"Looks" lifeless.
Feel the leaves and stalks, are the stems soft and the leaves dry/paper like?

BTW - it's nothing I haven't done.

Oh you don’t see three recommendations in a row to chop here on RIU very often. Usually people are impatient and want to chop early. It’s almost a running joke, two more weeks, kinda like bout a pound. I hope your harvest cures and smokes well.

The leaves feel nice and healthy and not super thin and flimsy. The stems have plenty of flexibility to them and are not brittle. Everything is obviously smaller than it should be due to the dumbassery of yours truly early on. One thing I can't figure out is when taking pictures of it, this light throws off the white balance on my phone and makes it all yellowish. When I can actually get it to focus and stay bright white like the life appears in real life, it looks much better.

I am well aware that this plant has really been a waste of time and energy if I were growing for profit or needed big yields. I just let it run its course as a learning thing and because I just love to see if I can nurse something back to health.

Ohhhhhhh. Hahahaha. I haven't been as active as before and thought I missed a string of threads or something. I have tried real hard since starting growing to wait until everything was definitely ready before asking because the "two more weeks" answer was the first thing I noticed when joining the site. Haha

Chopped and trimmed all the fan leaves and most of the sugar leaves. Hanging now to dry. Mostly all popcorn. But it's out of the tent, it is sticky af, smells amazing and there was not a single seed or nanner on the entire plant. Can't wait to get a smoke report once it's all done.

The buds look fine. Let us know how that smokes.bongsmilie
Got chopped Sunday night and will probably be going into jars this evening to cure. I'm really looking forward to getting feedback on this one. I have 5 more plants of it that started as little clones and have since gotten out of fucking control. Hahaha. This is right after I chopped them all down again. They are back up in the light now. I'm debating on cutting them back down again and flipping them after a couple days of recovery.

You create your own problems just like I do, lol. Its worth a try. Do you have a taller space to move them? If you don't cut them back they will be through the top of the tent when they start flower. If you do cut them back it could cause them to some to herm, correct? At least you have others if it goes tits up. Keep us informed on this one. I like to learn because I mess shit up constantly.

man, I stressed the fuck out of the one that is drying now. Not a seed or nanner in sight. I feel pretty comfortable that cutting them back will not cause any issues. I do not have anywhere taller. I will be dropping the fan and filter to the floor so I can zip tie the light to the top of the tent. So I'll gain about a foot or so. The more I think about it, the more I think I'm gonna have to cut them back and give em a couple days of recovery time before flipping.

Yes sir, I have shorter tents too. Pisses me off I didn't buy taller. I did the same thing with my light, it did give me about 6 additional inches of room above my plant. I bet your plants will recovery fine, good nutes will get them going. This hobby turns into an obsession quickly. My wife is so sick of our garage and seeing new things arrive in the mail.

If I wasn't divorced, this wouldn't be happening on the scale that it did. Hahaha.

Haha!!! It was definitely on death row for a day or two. I'm super pumped to see what her daughter does who is in the tent now. My goal is to not almost kill her and keep her healthy for the whole flower cycle. Haha. I also have a handful of clones that are going to move into the big tent when they are ready.
