Any advice on how to proceed with getting a better yield

This is where so many growers go wrong. If you want to grow good weed then you need to keep it simple, you don't go adding all these different chemicals with no idea how they are going to react with each other in any given setup.

Save that for when you become a professional grower with a complete understanding of what you are doing.

I have an understanding hence why I am telling him to add sulfates. Your nutes come in different forms. The ones I listed are in sulfate form. Look at churchaze's grow where he started using sulfates or even rm3's grows. Some of the frostiest buds I've seen

You have an understanding of his specific grow? his strain, his nutrient schedule and how these additives all fit in?

What works for one may not work for someone else especially when that one is an experienced grower with a complete understanding of his plants and his systems. Different strains, different setups, different stages, different nutrient mixes. There is no way you can be sure that this isn't going to hinder his grow especially given that you didn't go into any detail about how much and how often to use. Thats why novices like this guy fare better when told to keep it simple. So many people fuck up their grows because they try and get too complicated and end up frying their plants.

I'm not trying to be a dick, i just know that if i were him i would be even more confused now.

You're nutes come in different froms.
If you look at the back of your nute bottles you'll see that.
So add some nutes that have potassium sulfate, magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts), calcium sulfate. Just get some of your nutes I'm sulfate form and you'll see

I use budzila a n b flowering formula make it quarter strengthfor first two weeks flower then move up I'm currently giving mine 1000ppm per Feed unless I'm flushing but then str8 water. Not a single sign nute burn yet an they are loven it been feeding on this strength now for 3wks

It just doesn't matter. They are all the same. The thing is knowing when to just feed straight water, which to be honest is most of the time if you are growing in a good soil.

Look at the grow in my sig if you want to see how im doing and to see the npk of my nutes
Hey bro, I checked your sig, but I was wondering what soil brand and mix you are using? Was just checking the bunnings website. I imagine maybe the dalton incredibles tomato mix could be a good one.

I actually cant remember the brand exactly. You want a general potting mix for houseplants. Don't go for a mix which is designed for a specific plant type because

http://www.mandalaseeds.com/Guides/Soil-Guide

Have a read of that. The information is specific to the strains they are selling, but alot of it is good information in general because at the end of the day its the same species of plant. They talk about different types of soil and talk about correct balances for marijunana saying "Generally, soil composed for potted household plants falls into this category."

Have a look at the gallery on the mandalaseeds site. When someone grows buds like that - you take their advice.

Im in new zealand aswell. I've never had a problem with nutes being expensive.

I grow in soil from bunnings or wherever, with 2 bottles of nutes to cover both veg and flower (and i never finish a bottle) and i get excellent results. I generally get a pound off 4 plants over a 3 month grow cycle. The problem most people have is that they over complicate things.
You ever tried Growzilla from Hyalite?

hi ya kiwi!

yeah i also use bunnings/big w soils- blood meal etc- usually mix a few bags of stuff with some perlite
i wouldnt bother with mj specific nutes honestly as mentioned here you can just get the salts and mix ur own- ofcourse as also mentioned you need to know what you are doing because some stuff bonds in a a solution(or just mix each powder separately and water with that) but start with epsom salt (magnesium sulphate)for magnisuim and check out the orchid/flower nutes at bunnings- I cant remember the brand but they have a section with powders of all kinds of dif npk levels and its about 4 bucks per bag which makes a stupid amount of liquid nutes

i always start with a good soil mix and water only for veg(sometimes epson salts/ top dress with bat shit) then i furt during flower with those cheap powder nutes- the less complicated you make it the easier it will be

I used growzilla (veg) and budzilla and headmaster(flower) from hyalite/switched on last season and yielded 1lb from 2 clones in a glasshouse. Was my first season growing so have no experience with other nutes, I was happy with it. Easy to use and cheap. Mine were in cheap mitre 10 soil and compost.

Funny I came across that website today and was impressed. Think my next run of clones I'm going follow that guide.

I've always thought I was getting ripped off with all these special nutes from hydro shops. Dont even know why I read into it in the first place. All my other fruit tress and annuals / veges crank and I do fuck all to them.
