I'm just trying to make it in this wonderful world of growing. My plant is 6 weeks old. I'll attach some pictures. Let me know anything you can tell me. All input is appreciated.

When you say that, do you mean prune?
several ways to do it you could cut or pinch out the growing top, you could squeese and roll aroung the stem til it softens and the top falls over or you could start tying it down, i wouldnt say prune that sounds to much like taking off useful fan leaves

Best to leave the fan/sun leaves on the plant. They are the big ones those are needed so the plant can process light, co2, oxygen and transpire. That is my 2 cents.

I'm still a bit confused with the whole topping method. Just a bit unsure about it. I thought pruning helped stimulate new growth on the upper, smaller nodes...Dammit. I can't fuckin' remember. Weedzheimer's kills..

start flowering whenever you want some will ssay to wait for preflowers some will say wait til at least a foot tall, you could start now if you wanted but i would definatly top em that will cause the 2 upper most nodes to grow up so you have 2 tops growing and hopfully it will let the lower growth catch up a bit... as for pruning fan leaves just dont do it

Gotcha. No more clipping the fans for me. Could you show possibly a detailed picture of exactly where to top them and how to cut it exactly where? I'm nervous about it, but really feel that I need to. Thanks a lot.
