Havn't tried it yet, but a kit is on the way. This is my first grow. My first plants, I used miracle grow. It worked, but definitely nothing to write home about. Im trying out a few strains to see what I like...then see what nutes , they like. I have durban poison, afghani bullrider, trainwreck and purple arrow and trying a blueberry soon. With the price of everything you need to grow being so expensive, its hard to save money by growing your own. Doing cfl grow with soil, hoping nutes will give my plants more yield and thc. fox farm and technoflora are my next nutes to try out. Im gonna do everything in my power not to use advanced, if I had that kind of money to spend on nutes....I could afford to keep buying from dispensaries. I'll let you know how they work out for me

Thanks most appreciated. I did use recipeefor success this season and had fantastic results. Just wanted to see if anyone else liked it. You will run out of boost and sugar daddy first because they are used in veg and flowering..but they sell 1 liter bottles and they last..got mine from hidhut.com . Be sure to feed your blueberry lightly she wont like alot of nutes at all. You will love the trainwreck very potent. Asfor me waiting for beans myself. Right now I have 8 yumboldts from sagmartha 6 in ebb and flood 2 in dirt. I have only grown humboldt, ak47 and, chronic. For this order decided to try.black skull criticle ryder feminised, feminised seed co criticle auto, lowryder chronic ryder and royal queen seeds royal ak all 5 packs. CANT WAIT! My first autos ever. good luck well follow progress and see some pics. Peace happy smokin

I love technaflora. I used to use fox farms and it worked pretty good but in my opinion technaflora works better. On my grow that I have now I did 4 on technaflora and two on fox farms. The plants on fox farm were way smaller then the other plants. So I did a water change and switched to the technaflora and they took off and are almost the same size and the others. That's my experience. Hope it helps.

And the recipee for success for technaflora is a lot cheaper than buying bigger bottles. I have ordered 7 of them. Have used about 2-4 so far. Not really sure. Ha. But on week 3 of flower.

I used the RFS and also got good results, its intended for hydro but is suitable for soil-less or whatever basically. But honestly there are better nutrient lines if you are running dirt/soil-less.

However, I followed the instruction sheet except for the pre harvest routine and got really good results for a first grow thats for sure.

Just wondering. Why did you not do the pre harvest part? It sounds good but I don't know if it would be or not.

I asked a few more experienced growers and they talked me out of it, it just seemed kinda crazy to bump up the ca/mg at the end the plants life is what I was told and did just water for the last 7-10 days, the sugar daddy I guess is carbs but its still some kind of mineral/food (sulfur/magnesium) so I'm not sure, I'm still learning myself as well but I'm running soil-less so I got away from the RFS but theres nothing wrong with it, if I could produce the kinda buds I did with the recipe for success my first time growing buds never having grown anything in my life knowing nothing about gardening at all whatsoever, anyone can.

The main nutes are the part of the line if you switch anything, they should be the thing switched. The thrive alive green and red are decent seaweed/kelp products, the green is omri but both are good, the sugar daddy is basically par for the course, ca/mg+ is ca/mg, but the grow/bloom/boost are straight chem and are hydro nutes that are passable for soil as I've said. But they work, so dont waist your money if you dont have to and dont switch up mid grow but if you are starting a grow and know your going to need more grow/bloom nutes you may want to look into something more organic or natural like botanicare pure blend pro or something similar if you run soil-less and start with them.

As far as they go in hydro.....I dont know, my hydro career was very short lived and nothing ever came of it, maybe in the future I'll take another whack at it but I ended up going with general organics in soil-less with amendments to give organics/veganics a try.

Gotcha. I have heard some people do it and it works really good. They say the taste is amazing.
I'm going to try it on half mine to see the difference.

I use the RFS exclusively with FF Happy Frog soil. I adore this stuff and so do all my girls. Works great, tasty budz! I was planning on doing a side by side next grow with the FF Trio. But since reading this and several other posts and threads, well...it ain't broke so I ain't gonna try to fix it.

Post your results, I'm curious to know how you make out as well. I think it will work out fine for you, the only reason I didnt go ahead and try it was I had to much going on at the time and being my first grow and just wanted to get it over and done with successfully and thats not saying adding the ca/mg and sugar daddy isnt going to work or whatever, thats me saying I would have screwed something up more than likely at that point in time.

Post some pics for us when you can and let us know how you make out, I think it will work out for you though.

Happy holidays!
