Any difference between CFLs besides Wattage?

I was wondering if it's ok to use the non-spiral CFLs? talking about the small ones just not spiral, not t5 and alike.

They have the same Wattage and they are not fat, which is why I need them, to cramp more in a small place.

Any difference then? thanks!

there are differant cfl lights, some are 2700k and some 5000k. the k stands for kelvin that is the scale used to determine what colors of the spectrum the light is giving off.theres plenty of good info on cfl,s on this site you want 2700 for flower and 5000 for veg,and a mix of both is supposed to be good also good luck and grow on
