Any DIY Ballast experts?

Just wondering if i can convert my 400w hps ballast into 150w? are any parts interchangable?

i wouldt think so, my 150 w ballast is tiny compared to a 400w . you could just sell and buy a 150 , good luck

nope. different bulbs need different ballasts. usually they are labeled ANSI ##....for example, a 250 watter is usually an ANSI 55 ballast, a 150 watter is ANSI 57 (i think), and so on and so forth.

the only interchangeability i have heard of is using a 430 watt bulb in a 400 watt ballast
