Any estimate on yield from these photos?

Ok, just so everyone knows, I'm not looking for the trolls who post "6.78908798 ounces." Dont be a dick. lol. I know that estimating is a rough business, and I'd really like a range of what might be expected. So with that out of the way, lets begin:

This is my first plant to make it to flower (the first one to make it past seedling as well haha) and the strain is BlackJack (Jock Horror X Black Domina) in Ebb & Flow. Roots are in hydroton only, flooded 3 times a day, once at night. Im using the lucas formula at 1250ppm. I LSTd till the canopy was almost too full and then put her into flower. It smells beautiful and there are a shit ton of crystals all over her. Im so excited. So like I said I know its a rough estimate from the pictures but I included a size reference with the zippo, so maybe that will help. Also at the moment she's under a 250w HPS, and the canopy is roughly 18 inches square.

Ive counted about 15 tops, 8 of which are fairly big (like the one with the lighter) then 4 that are mediocre, and 3 that are pretty dinky. If you could tell me, judging how she looks at 5 out of 9-10 weeks, what would be a:

Disappointing yield
Average yield
Surprisingly large yield

Just one last time: I know its rough, I'm okay with rough answers, I just don't know what to expect and I'm antsy so I thought I'd ask! haha

And for shits and grins, here are 3 clones I took from her and put into flower as soon as they rooted... sprung about an inch a day for a week and a half!

By the way I meant, what would be an average yield for this size plant, and what would be a large plant lol!

Since it is week 5 it has time to fill out. I'd say slightly less than average yield.

So what would you say less than average would be for this plant? Maybe 4-6 oz? I'm hoping for close to a 1/2 lb. but that maybe a dream.

4-6 oz is not average from what I gather. More like 1-2 oz. I would say about 1 oz dry, but it is really too early to tell. Your buds could hit a major growth spurt and fatten and elongate like mad. Not sure though since you say it is already 5 weeks. Is that since 12/12 or some other indicator?

They seems a bit short for sickening yields... next time let those ladies reach for the stars a little longer!

Edit - I agree that you'll get less than you're expecting, but often that is the case for all of us! Always high expectations from our ladies

So your saying each top will give me no more than an eighth? They look like they have a quarter on them to me right now. idk maybe they just shrink more than I thought when they dry.

Its still early, but your pics show buds that are roughly the size of some of my lower buds on recent grows. I only yielded a little over 1.25 oz per plant.

Yes it's 5 weeks into flowering. Veg'd for a couple months from seed, its my first grow so it took me a while to get it in the groove of growing fast. How would you best explain that it looks like a lot more than an ounce or two to me already? Maybe I'm underestimating the shrinkage, or imjust a bad judge? Haha

Oh and it's a 9-11 week strain, I was thinking cut them around 9 or 10 because I want more of a head high than a body high.

My guess;

Bad harvest = less than 1.5 oz. dry/cured.
OK " = 1.5-2.0 " " .
Good " = 2.0+ " " .

Good luck and keep us posted. Any quantity over 2.0 oz. should be sent to me for immediate disposal.

I'm just guestimating by my own few grows when they were at the 5 week mark. My buds looked much larger than yours, but I might have had less tops.

I agree with your lighting idea.

Abe, if ya have never dried/cured colas before..ur first couple will be heartbraking at what u end up seeing. they will shrink down to atleast half the weight than they were when u cut them down...but thats a good thing. u dont want to smoke harsh bud that tasts like chemicals or chlorophyll, so its best to let nature take is cut (per si'). not a bad lookin lady for ur first grow. after u get in the hang of things, u should shoot for 1gram per watt when you get some experience and be quite happy with pulling .5 grams per watt that u use (125grams or 4.46 oz's in your case) untill u get ur style down. good luck dude!
i read above that 2 oz was a good yeild..wow. thats low expectations bro. if i dont pull 4-6z's per plant im totally dissapointed.
