These lil suckers are worth their weight in bud, they do everything, tie off branches for LST or to just move a branch into the light, tie off cords & such, they have a wire inside & are easy as hell to work with & are much better than tape, garbage ties or zip ties, buy them once & reuse forever, the furry covering makes it nice so they dont cut into the plant.

When i was a little kid we called them pipe cleaners.I got mine at family dollar,at $1 each i bought 10 packs with 75 14 inch wires.

Pics to follow.

Sure glad yall posted this. I have been looking for them crazy pipe cleaners everywhere. Now I know where to look. Thanks. Now I did have some pretty good luck with thick cotton butcher's twine last time out of the chute. Couldn't see where it hurt the plants none and you could tie it about anywhere and its cheap. Come to thunk on it not even sure I need any pipe cleaners..but it still nice to know where to get some even though I clean my pipe with a coat hanger and a electric twisty tie gizmo for the mouth piece part. If a person buy one of them Sherlock Holmes looking corn cob pipes with the crooked mouth piece think the best strategy is to just cut off the bent part with wire cutters so it gives a straight from the bowl to the lungs. Makes it much easier to clean out the gunk. No wonder Gen. MacArthur have the straight shaft on his pipe. He prob got some good smoke over there in the Phillipines. Thanks again.

my bowl is made from copper pipe. every now and then, I just put the whole thing in the dish washer on a quick sanitize cycle. makes it shiny like new.

don't you worry, I'll buy a nice glass one when I get around to it. an hour, a hammer, a bench grinder, and an old piece of pipe.. had fun making it and has given me months of enjoyment. never any rust. I coated the inside with some kind of clear epoxy stuff. it's solid built and easy to clean. the epoxy never melted or turned colors. it's still clear even. crafty :bigjoint:
