Why are you flushing the plant? Just mix up an appropriate feed solution and feed your plant to run off. If the feed solution is at the proper pH and nutrient level, once you're finished feeding, your medium will reflect the feed characteristics (nutrient levels and pH) you just put in it...and then you're off to the races. This is one of the benefits of coco, it's super easy to reset the medium and go. As to those you're following on IG and their pH levels; there are many ways to skin a cat...I'm not suggesting my way is the only way...it's simply what works for me.

So I’m still having issues on like 5 of my 8 plants the new growth still isn’t taking off ..I topped all of the plants again ( essentially cut off all of the old tops/bad growth ) not really surewhat else I can do or what is preventing this new growth from happening . gave them a mild feeding at 5.8 ph with a good amount of runoff

Be patient...the fact that the plants twisted up like they did suggests you had a bigger problem going. Now if you've fixed it, you have to give the plants a chance to show it. If you're feeding every day, at the proper levels and at the proper pH, your plants will come back.

I topped 36 hours ago and the 3 plants that look normal are showing new good growth the other 5 still looked stunted
