Any Ideas

Ya. You will be getting a pound a plant. As soon as you see it, your gears will get turning and you will see a way to improve on the system that you see and you are a fucking grow junkie like the rest of us. lmao. I just want a huge warehouse with all different grows to experiment and play.

Everyone does it different. I know I am a compassionate caregiver. I give my patients up to 2 oz per month for FREE and sell any overage to other cardholders to cover costs. None of my patients own any individual plants. I grow as a co-op with my patients. If they require more than 2 oz per month, they pay $200/ oz. This was agreed upon before I took them on as a patient and all my patients consider my offer generous. Costs involving the grow are my responsibility and usually the patients are very happy with 2 oz of free weed a month. I believe that it is wrong to sell it to a patient for street price. My system may be too generous, but we are happy with it.

if you keep topping a plant over and over all you will have is a bunch of small tops and a shit load of trimming. Ive seen a big ass tree under a 1000w light with many tops but 6 plants under the same light can produce the same amount. for those who say you get a pound remember we were talking about dry weight. they do get to a point when too many tops reduces yield.

k well my tops arent small and i my trimming is pretty easy and as for the decrease in yield i must just only have strains that increase yield when topped but i guess if it were to over crowded you may need to thin it out, but ive grown all my strains all different ways except a couple new strains and topping has never failed after i started but i dont ever top plants from seed

I just read a book that is exactly about this. They top it and take four main branches and take that to 64 tops/tips. The claim is that each tip is atleast 7 grams dried which is a pound, and he claims many times its more like 2 once you get it down. All I got to say is... it sure sounds like it's worth a try. lol.

this is my biggest indoor plant yet.... it yeilded 12 oz and it was in a 3 gallon potter of sunshine mix But i had to veg it for 6-7 weeks

In hydro...same time frame..... this strain ...this cut... would produce well over a pound indoor

Nice plants. I am interested to know what you think of the difference in taste and potency compared to your hydro.

taste...there is a big difference IMO.... soil grown or in my case a soil less medium cured properly tastes much much better than hydro....

I grow my weed for taste... I strickly use a volcano vaporizer which gives you the actual taste of the herb and a 90% collection of the thc content of the strain

potency is due to genetics ....you cant produce more than the plant has to offer

Potency is most important to me, so all I buy is high potent strains and that covers that. After ass-kickability, taste is most important to me, so I am trying some soil grows. Hydro is still cool though.

I've never had a hydro that I couldn't taste the hydro..
I heard you say that, that is honestly pretty impressive. I 'assumed' with all the different candy and sugar shit for hydro, I just figured with hydro I could damn well pick out what flavor I wanted. lol.
Besides that, soil is so much easier, holy fuck. I am thinking about getting a concrete mixer from harbor freight and assembling it in my basement for a super soil station. lol. Why not. My back is toasted. Actually I found out yesterday, my spine is what's fucked up, so I need to make this shit easier.

Ill second that.....I can always tell the difference in taste....hydro has more of a chemical taste... even when flushed compaired to the same strain grown in soil.

For your soil grows ....why not try sunshine mix #4 or promix...best stuff on the market IMO...promotes great plant and root devolopement
