Hi, I have a seven foot monster sativa in a pot in the ground, been out since late May. She was budding inside but got too big and put her out, she re-vegged to a huge lady. Should start to re-bud soon, anyone ever have luck finishing a sativa in NY State?? She is stinky!! I also have an indica next to her who is also female and preflowers just started, she should make it to late september, weather permitting. Anyone, sativa, luck??

nice plant man...just let nature do her own thing...especially if there is a late frost in the forcast. Sativas tend to flower alot longer than Indicas. They should start flowering really soon...patience.

sativas' at least in my experience almost never get to be finished in the NorthEast. Unless you go with something on the shorter flowering side, like Strawberry haze or G13. I know i my area that frost hits from the 2nd to the 3rd week of October for the most part. As for the later frost, i would be very sceptical, the farmers almanac didn't say we would get over a month strait of rain here where im at either, but in the spring we did. Also if you like sativas but are in the north east then try something like durban poison, early pearl, or trance.

you may wanna look into covering your plants torwards the end phase...helps with frost issues.

I hope my stuff finishes as well. I got Alaskan Ice and Malawi going. I know the Malawi takes a while. I'm crossing my fingers.

I don't have pics, my camera phone has no cord to connect to internet and my digital camera is broke. I will just move her to the backyard come october and take her in at night if it comes down to it, she is so pretty. I finished a bagseed indica in eight weeks flat, got over two and one half ounces from cfl's indoors. Man that was/is good smoke, still have a few fat buds in mason jars. Anyway, thanks for the info and hopefully mother nature gives us a nice, long summer with warm temps and low humidity, no bud rot please!! Peace out fellow smokers!

nice a northeast sativa thread.

Ive got a bunch of arjans haze 3 in the ground, it says 10-12 weeks. Hoping they flower soon.

EDIT: I'm just worried the rain won't stop into the fall. At least sativas are more moisture problem resistant, or so I read.

I had Kali Mist and Colombain Red Haze. It was the haze that took over 100 days but the Kali was in the 90's. Both are utterly fantastic :hump: Well well worth the wait.
Cool man...I'm more of an Indica lover...due to its bushy like habit/nature and faster flowering times. Allows for a more low profile garden, and with my anxiety/ADD, I like that its finished faster...
